I'm currently reading the manga of this as well, and I'm surprised that there is an anime of this.

Episode 10
What a heart touching episode, seeing Rin-chan that way :(
But a very well written episode though.

[font=verdana][color=green]Hmm...I like this anime a lot, but now we're nearing the last episode, I still feel like not a lot has been covered. It just seems to sway to one parent-child relationship situation to the next.
Don't get me wrong. I think that it's a very good anime, but that's all it will be. Very good. Not great. Never superb. This will probably get a 7/10 from me, depending on how the latest episode fairs. As a whole, it's the best anime released this season, but it's certainly not memorable.

Once again I wish I never read the time Skip... (chapter 25) After that it's not about parenting anymore.

[font=verdana][color=green]My problem isn't that this relationship is bad; it's more the fact that the plot has barely progressed anyway. If this had a slight underlying plot, then I wouldn't mind so much, but I think this would be better as an OVA format.

The "plot" starts after the time skip, which won't be shown in the anime, since it's only 11 episodes. Watching Usagi Drop (before the time skip) is like reading a bed time story.

[font=verdana][color=green]Yeah...I thought that a time-leap did exist, but I've never read the manga. Heh, nice analogy. I suppose that after the time-leap (lol, you can tell I'm obsessed with S;G with this term), that the feel for Usagi Drop changes a great deal.

[font=verdana][color=green]I got chance to finish this anime just now. Spoiler:
Sounds like you just don't like slice-of-life.

[font=verdana][color=green]Not at all. One of my favourite anime, Aria, is a slice-of-life. This anime just doesn't bring anything new to the table.

I finally had some free time to sit down and the whole series, even though I downloaded it months ago. I haven't read the manga though. This series was just one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Okay, now I need to go get checked for the diabeetus from cuteness overload.
