That version of TiTiKEi is the limited edition from Japan, and it really was limited. I don't think we'll be able to do the large TiTiKEi since it was a one time thing. Cherish that book.

I'm quite fond of the size, it makes everything look bigger, would love to buy Hanafuda in that size in English.

Why don't you do pre-orders to see if you get enough people to fund the print run? If you don't then refund everyone, if you do, jackpot.

This sounds like a good idea although I don't have a clue how things really work on your end. I would be willing to pay $40 for a physical copy of hanafuda, but then again, I can only speak for myself.

Hanafuda will definitely be printed as a full size artbook. However TiTiKEi was not normally printed in that size, what you have is a limited edition of the book they printed for some special promotional stuff. Since the whole point of limited edition merchandise is that it's only available once, it's not something we would just bring over without adding something special.

What we'll be doing instead (and this doesn't apply only to TiTiKEi), is making limited merchandise on our end. Merchandise that will be available exclusively through FAKKU. I'll be making some big announcements in regards to that soon, but it will include some really awesome stuff from artists like Bosshi and Henreader.

$40.00 for a physical copy, sounds fair. Just let me know when to order. Thanks Fakku

Strangely Taifu charged around 8€ more than usual for the release of Tentation Obscene, a book that looks the same in size as Hanafuda (and also in almost full color). Then again, Hanafuda is printed in another continent, so there might be some quality differences.

Still waiting to see what you'll do about a physical release, considering there is some controversial stuff. In any case, I'd be more than honored to buy a physical copy.

I only wish I could get the book somehow without getting in troubles... I need a teleporter.

Any news as to when we might see physical copies of Hanafuda being released? When I talked to Jacob during Phoenix Comic-con, he seemed to indicate it would be soon, but so far nothing has been reported.

We're starting the process of getting a paperback edition printed, it'll be a lot of back and forth with the printers to figure it all out. We're shooting to have it by the end of the year, but we might miss it.

That said, Okama approved us making a paperback edition! You all did it

Yay!
I seem to recall this was linked to the sales of the digital, that means it must have been pretty popular.

Ok, one question though, will there be no digital+paperback option at all, or will there be three options.
Just asking, even if I expect it to be like Bosshi XXX mix.

Must have missed the news back in August so I'm a bit late here, but I'm really glad we'll be getting a print edition. It's great that enough of us supported it digitally, even if some of us prefer paperback instead.

I bought it on a whim when I saw it. :P First of the Fakku book collection. The art is so great. I didn't realize it wasn't out in physical form, because I wasn't reading the forums. I just thought I missed out on the physical version. Great to know I can upgrade to the print version when it is ready. :D

Just chrcking eta on printed copy

Any chance of a hardcover artbook print of this, would buy either way but out of all of the fakku books released this one deserves the hardcover treatment.

Was the original hardcover? I believe that they're trying to keep them as close to the original releases as possible, so that would probably be the deciding factor.
