Yeah I figured it wouldn't be a good idea. I don't know what I'd do if I actually do manage to tear it off anyway.

I got mine earlier a full 3 days before the expected delivery date! Pretty excited to read it later on.

Just got my book today. Jacob and Fakku outdid themselves. The quality of the book is just amazing. Glad to support Fakku Books. :)

Out all day and when I finally got home and there it was waiting so patiently for me to open and enjoy.

You both would be correct. I love me some Spice and Wolf. It is my favorite series. Books are great too. Maybe one day we can go to a different universe where a third season is made.

The back of the dust jacket rather wrinkled, either by the shrink wrap or from the postman forcing it into my small mailbox, otherwise it's in beautiful shape.

Agreed. I don't know if you saw my comment, but will you look into some kind of cardboard packaging for future shipments? Mine had some very very slight damage, but that soft envelope can leave it exposed to a lot more if someone gets rough with it.

Maybe something like this? It's enough to protect it but it's less wasteful than a regular box if it's just a book or two. I believe it was Amazon that sent me things in that style before.



Obviously that won't save it if someone really beats the hell out of it, but the rigidity would probably keep it from getting bent as easily.

I agree with this guy. Also, if this type of cardboard packaging is used, will it cost more for both Fakku and the customer?
As someone who has worked at Fed Ex on peak season, I can assure you guys that pretty much all packages are given a rough treatment due to the fact that the main priority is to get package from point A to point B the quickest way possible.

Definitely something like that, and no this isn't an expense I would want to pass onto the customer. We would find a way to do it without increasing the shipping cost at all.

You could always increase the price of the book to cover the cost of better packaging. Just a thought.
