Renai Sample Picture Thread!

I almost feel like I'm taking advantage of your generosity....
I don't mind paying an extra buck if it means a cardboard packaging, I suppose.

There is one problem, I am concerned about more than any other
regarding flaws while binding...since its a mistake neither I nor the mailman can make
however slim it may affect others or even me gain in the future
some pages do not line up perfectly with the rest of the pages causing some pages to actually be a milimeter or so shorter than other pages resulting in some things being cut out

I want people to be happy! This is a whole new market for us and I want to set a new standard for the market in the United States. If you're happy just spread the love and get more people to check us out.

The books really came out fantastic though, they have a premium feel compared to most tankoubons that are localized. I'd love if you'd ever consider doing any artbooks that Wani has published in the future too.



I noticed that too, it's very slight for me at least, but it did cut off part of one of the word bubbles in at least one place I saw. I don't know much about the print process so I have no idea if there's a certain tolerance for that or what.

I send my matted work or books sandwich between two rigged cardboard pieces which only add 1/2 oz to total weight. Those USPS envelopes are barely usable outside of documents.

Mine arrived yesterday morning. I couldn't do this yesterday, so i'm doing it now.

I gotta say i'm pretty impressed, the quality is amazing, this was well worth the wait! It feels so weird to read Hentai in an actual book (but i love it), after years of only reading them online. Also this is the first time I've ever actually paid for porn, and it is an honor that Renai Sample was my first. After getting my copy, i have decided that i'm definitely going to buy every book that you guys release, so keep it up!

Just got my book and it is amazing the quality the feel.... the scent, Jacob you and the whole crew at fakku deserve a clap of the hands cause you have outdone yourselves.

My phone's camera is pretty garbage, though. This book is beautiful. I plan on buying every release! (Except Punikano, which my husband bought on his account).

so I started reading it and as I did it felt a bit weird, thought it was the sleeve so I removed it. As it turns out the binding paper is loose on both front and back covers. Thankfully I know about book binding and can fix this issue myself with some book specific adhesive. I'd post a picture but I'm on my phone currently so I'll do so later. It's annoying to have to fix something you have purchased so I hope Fakku is able to do a more through press check before sending printed stuff out. Love it none the less, happy with my purchase :)

Our mistake, you can keep the extra copy! You can do whatever you want with it, I recommend giving it to a friend or close family member..

Are you talking about the actual binding for the end sheets? Or that the first and last end sheets are glued to the cover?

If the actual binding is messed up, sorry about that. There are a lot of books and they're all shrink wrapped before we get them. If it's coming apart you could return it to us for a new copy.

However, the end sheets were specifically glued to the inside covers only on the outside edge. This is a technique that Wanimagazine uses and I like it so I kept it for our releases. The pink end sheets look nice and go with the FAKKU color scheme, and also protect the cover and the first pages(especially if they're color). We don't glue them all the way or else it would bend and look strange.

I'm sorry you had to do some DIY on your book but hopefully this helps!
