I think we need to get a giant portrait of Jacob and hang it up from a 5-story building like they do in the Middle East.

I want to personally thank everyone who purchased the physical box set. It's our first time printing an expensive set like this so I wasn't sure how well it would be received. I am happy it did so well and even sold out! I am incredibly proud of everyone involved in its production both here at FAKKU and in Japan.
I hope the quality of the final product speaks for itself when you get it. We tried to go above and beyond what you'd expect to create something well worth the money. This is also the first time we worked with an artist so closely and as a result saitom has quickly become a close friend of mine. These comics are very dear to him, so to be able to work on the official release is an honor. I hope you can see the effort he's put into them over the years when you hold them in your hands.

I just want to comment that this release is easily one of the most infuriating things I've experienced on this website, and I would recommend to never do this again. I wanted this box set, but was unable to purchase it due to a trivial thing called work. I understand why there was a limited number, and I also understand if these could never be printed like this again. I just hate the fact that I missed out on something I never really had a chance to try for in the first place. I know I'll get over this in a few days, but I have no desire to feel salty over a pron site.
If another release like this happens in the future, my biggest recommendation would be to avoid doing so in a way where a person can feel like they missed out. Send a message to the people who have spent the most money on the website for first dibs. I wouldn't feel this bad if these box sets were bought by people who have spent more money here than I have. A random raffle would have at least given everyone a fair shot at it (just have the people win pay, then have the reward go to the next guy if they fail to pay). These are just two ways that I can think of some people might have even better ones. I just have to say the way chosen this time sucked.

These were meant to be exclusive to AX16. With that in mind we are lucky that we were even able to have a chance to order them online. I don't deny that the release could have gone a bit smoother but complications happen. On the brightside everyone can have access to the digital release!

Still, knowing that Fakku did another limited release after XXX Mix was pretty much killing me inside. I'm glad I got it, but I honestly believe content should be provided in a way that won't need to be limited.
But that's only me, I consider convention only pieces are a disgrace but this is a way to get people coming, afterall. At least this isn't just a Keychain or some silly trinket. Thanks for going the extra mile, Fakku.
So, what's next? An artbook? Or are you going to keep the trend of releasing doujins in collector packages? I'm pretty curious as to what will come next AX.

This time we decided to schedule two specific dates and times for the release, to give everyone the same chance. It's unfortunate that some people missed out, and it's possible we will print more in the future as a result. I wasn't expecting it to completely sell out immediately on both days.

Does FAKKU even have a newsletter? I know I'll sign up for one and anybody who chooses to opt-in are likely repeat buyers. It will also help avoid messy (though successful) limited release like saitom box because not everyone like myself visit the forum all that often and you will keep more people informed about anything: site changes, merchandise, new books, etc...
It's not a huge thing to add to the site but the benefits are significant. You guys are publishers now and get to deal directly with the artists. Just my 2-cents.
