[Saitom] UnisiS & Wrapping

Buy any manga in the states for that matter, Fakku's quality is better then all of them.


Got the Saitom box today, and its like no other manga I own, so much hype!

Just got my box, and maybe an odd question and I probably know the answer, but is the 'Saitom Box' in the side of it support to also be partially on the back? I'm assuming it's a misprint.

Apart from that this thing is great, I was not expecting it to be nearly as big and the textures on everything was a nice surprise!

I had similar issues. Some glue specs on the back and denting on the top of the non open side. I just put a ticket in.

Maybe after manufacturing they should of plastic wrapped the whole box as well as the doujin :P

Though other than that I thought it was kinda cool. I didn't know it'd be this big. It's like twice as tall and wide as a normal book.

Doujinshi are A4 printed . Some are B4. Tanks and gn are usually A5/B5.

So I take it there won't be another physical release of this? I had no money at the time and it makes me sad to miss out, especially since I already own about 75% of all the books Fakku has released.

Gonna hold off buying digital until I know for sure.

We may print it again in the future, but if we do it won't happen for several months. However if you do purchase the digital edition now for the release tomorrow, if you buy the box set in the future we give you a discount on the price!

My god is this what premium hentai feels like? This blows my high end non-h art books out of the water. The texturing on the covers is enough to give me goosebumps. Jacob what did you guys do to get that wonderful texturing? I must say spectacular job you have come a long way from XXX MIX

Dried-glue looking stuff?

mine also had the glue looking stuff and a dent but i didnt put a ticket in as they were sold out and i didnt mind as long as the books inside were fine

They said in my email they'd get some replacement slip covers in after a while for people that got damaged ones. Would take a while though. I think you might wanna do the ticket if you want one of those.

Truly out done it for this. annoyed by the dent on the top corner. but you can't get usps to understand not to drop it on the front porch.

My copy just arrived. I'm very impressed that it took just over a week to get across the pond from Stateside.

The quality is unbelievable. I'm glad I splashed out and bought this.

Got my order yesterday. Wonderful printing and gigantic, but the one gripe I have with it is the matte texturing applied to the covers of each doujin. On several of the comics the texture is already chipping off and it's completely gone on the spine of Wrapping 2. I guess that what people have been calling the "dried glue" stuff. I wonder if there's a way to remove the texture without damaging the comics... For such an expensive box, I would've liked to see more attention to detail. But hey, this is the first time Fakku has done something on this scale, so it's understandable. Live and learn!

The dried glue is a separate issue, it's on some of the actual boxes themselves.

The matte stuff seems to flake off due to the friction since all the books have the texture and end up rubbing together.

The digital edition has been officially released! You can now read online and download.


If anyone has issues with the physical box set, send an email to store@fakku.net or use the contact form. As always we will replace anything that is damaged.

But I want to ask, is this something you'd all like to see more of? Should we seek out more artists to work with like this, and release their doujins as box sets?
