[Locked] Comic Lo?

Fakku is already working with Comic Lo's publisher. So we just have to convince them.

I'd like to see it but it won't happen. I spoke with Comic LO a few years ago about my own publishing company(debut currently abandoned), and they told me they were not interested in releasing it outside of Japan because of the controversy outside of Japan and the fact that they did not want to draw anymore negative attention to loli.

that is unfortuante to hear, than lets keep hope for either more loli releases, or even the impossible reccomended in this poll :3 I think more votes can still show more loli would be appreciated in general.

Yeah, years ago they put online a page asking pirates to not share LO because its content is seen as problematic overseas and it can lead to regulations.

I think Fakku has enough loli content by now that adding LO should not be much of a problem. Especially with the "controversial" tags being hidden if you haven't enabled them and with the magazine being only one part of a bigger subscription package.

It might also help that after the original license being dropped due to all the controversy back then, even if it's not hentai itself, Kodomo no Jikan is now being officially released in English.

True enough, although it's still an indication of the controversy dying down these days. People have moved on to the next thing to be outraged about. As they usually do.


edit: I would say there are two things needed for adding LO. As mentioned before, enough new staff to handle all the licenses so it won't just end up in the/a rotating spot. And seeing how, while being loved by a lot of us, it is still a niche that many subscribers also dislike, we would likely also need another magazine to balance it out for those opposed to the idea.

I do attempt this :3 almost on a weekly basis, to contact at least 1 loli artist and see if they will work with FAKKU!. Though games I hadn't tried, I support MUK on fantia, I'll send a message to him!

I don't see how contacting the artists would help. A couple of them contacted Fakku publicly on twitter months ago and I'm sure a few Fakku people would be happy to publish their works too but it still didn't happen. What about payment processors? I really can't share the optimism.

Keep in mind that we don't have the resources to work on every game/doujin that's brought to our attention, so it's unlikely contacting Japanese artists will lead to anything. However, if you have a product that's already in English, I'm sure we'd consider it as long as the translation and overall quality is up to par.

I would absolutely love being able to read Comic LO here on Fakku and i would love even more to be able to buy the tankoubons/tankobooks made by loli artists if they were to be sold here on Fakku.

That would be interesting, I actually never thought of asking him if he would produce for FAKKU. That would be an interesting thing to happen.
