Yep. Logistical convenience to quartermasters all around the fronts. That's why the NATO adapted STANAG-Compliant ammo, magazines and railings.Well, would you like to become a staff back in my thread?
which thread and what title?
also NATO Assault Rifles and GPMGs use mainly the 5.56x45mm NATO round and can accept a STANAG magazine that was created as the universal magazine for NATO country developed rifles and MGs
EDIT: wat the- when did Rise-chan get here?!

Hello Rise
@Kalash: Yep, but there are NATO members that do not use the STANAG Mags, like the users of G36s and Steyr AUGs.
Whatever you like, general, technical adviser, anything.

I don't know, i don't think they're that different from the British SAS just that they aren't as prestigious or well known
and yes Quartermaster sounds like a great rank but what would my initial role be as Quartermaster of the Military thread?

It's just for fun, actually. :]
But since you're knowledgeable about weapons and tactics as well, it suits you.
I heard their endeavors back in the 'Nam. They're quite badass too.

Yes i liked the way the Communist parties' approach towards the local people
the way the Americans were acting in Vietnam was probably one of the main reasons why they lost

Anyway, hello gentlemen. I have been busy with learning French. Also, new ME3 trailers are out, and it's awesome. 'Nuff said.
And hello Keirova, why yes indeed, we have a space open for a mechanic. Mechs and aircraft need a 24/7 maintenance, after all.
By the way...:
Said local people may not share that viewpoint though...

agreed but enough about the Vietnam war, i talk about it enough at school. i remember reading about the Australian army wanting to change its camouflage to better suite the middle east but it seems that the soldiers are a little too proud of their patterns than being more effective on field
