Sorry I've been awol for so long.. every time I get one thing fixed another problem arises. I won't bore everyone with the details, but what I will say is that online activities (save for playing a game or two) have been just impossible until late.

That fast net I got had to take a back seat to other bills, but that company is still charging me, even though I have no use of my net! >.<; Anyways, what I am using to access the web now can get really slow sometimes, often not even connecting at random. So I wasn't using it to get on F!.. but I miss you guys! So we'll try it anyway.

It figures that I would chose to return right as F! gets updated and an army of bugs crawl out. I guess I'll post anyway and risk it though. After all, with the new changes, something tells me people will need what this forest offers all the more. lol

lol, yeah I know. There are always plenty of phantoms around F!.. that's been the style ever since Jacob got so involved in traveling around. It meant less time for the site. I mean, whatever happened to the games/videos tabs? Talk about dead. It would be nice if I had some place I could be like "ah.. nice dating sim.." instead of "ooh, a trial."

However, I do take heart in the fact that Jacob is trying. I mean, I posted yesterday or so and he went and addressed things. At the very least it means the site will be useable still.

He made the mistake of not leaving new Fakku in testing long enough.
It was only available for a week before it went live.

There's way better places to get games than Fakku though.

Like where? lol, I'm slow to learn of these things. I don't know a lot of people so I have no idea who to ask, and blindly torrenting is dangerous.

As for the quick live process, I agree.. but I think it's just cuz he was excited and wanted to surprise people.. and well, I guess he did. xD

On the note of gaming off of F!, even with better places, it would still be neat. I mean, I come here for so much more than hentai already, so if those tabs were viable it would be awesome.

Ask Haron or Sanada. They play a lot of VNs.

Well I do agree that as an owner he seems to MIA quite a bit, and I know that troubles people. And frankly, if your gonna be that unavailable, it's a good policy to at least set up a self governing staff to run things, rather than a few favored people.

That said, I am grateful for what he has brought everyone, and in some way, I guess I have to be thankful. I mean, I know 90% of the credit goes to the community here. Even though people have their ups and downs on this site, as a whole there is a pretty good gathering of folks who come on here regularly. And those people, for better or worse, tend to be quite real with others.

Before Jacob made this place, a porn forum was a place where everyone kinda kept to themselves, and you usually had to float around many of them to really experience much of anything. This site has an openness that is rare to find, even if it is far from perfect.

If Jacob hadn't started the ball rolling, I think a lot of people would still just be floating about instead of chatting like we tend to do here.

It's not his MIA that bothers me though, it's just his general attitude around the forums sometimes. He could come across a bit more polite. I just find him really difficult to say anything to. Why I very rarely report anything.

lol, yeah I see that! Your still using the same avi as the last time I saw you. It's okay though, I'm happy to see you all the same. I know your something of a drifter of sorts, and only really talk when you have something to say. So no worries, your message is still appreciated.

I'm sure when your feeling more chatty, we'll talk plenty. In the mean time, how are things going? It's been a long time.. played any good games or anything like that?

I understand that. I feel the same way at times, but I like to think it's not intentional. I mean, their are tons of people on here, and if he came off more friendly he's be swamped day in and out with just stuff from the site. I mean, look at bear! lol

So I think he just kinda developed this stand-offish developer attitude over time, and just doesn't know how to navigate away from it now.

Hmm. Some rather unfortunate things happened in life. My apps were all turned down so I had to resort to my plan B. That is going okay though. But just okay, nothing stellar. I'm not disheartened, I'm now working my way to beef up my profile and reapply as a stronger applicant this year. And, though if it needs be, the next.

In the games department, not much. I have 2 PS3 games waiting to be played but not much desire to do them for now. I'm just playing simpler games like tetris with a lot of swears flying about when some dickweed get more KOs than me despite sending less lines. Other than that, I've been spending time studying and writing my novel.
