I'm not sure I even can.. it's truly a very beautiful and touching song. It's sung with such devotion that the only thing I can thing to describe the feeling it gives is.. romantic. But.. that seems to not do it justice.

The words are so, well, almost mystical and masterfully chosen, and the music, it goes well with this sense of just everything the song has to offer. I mean, it's actually really moving.

Well let's see.. I'm not done with it just yet, but it's like this..

Right at first, I get this mystical sense. Like I dunno. Walking in a forest. Maybe it's disbelief? And then there is this sense of longing. Then this sense of deciding something. Then like, a sense of adventure, followed by nervous excitement. Once that dies down just a touch, there is this sense of triumph.

There is like, a slight waver and then the voices harmonize with the male voice, as if lending strength and support.. is it like a "I feel the same.." "I am here.." I dunno for sure.

Then as the voices soften, there is this sense of resignation. Moving forward perhaps. Whatever it is, it has a nice flow and I like it. I have no doubt it's a love song though.. I swear I've heard it somewhere before.

So it seems like what I was picking up kinda on the emotion the song is trying to convey. Their story of a such. Too cool. I really like those lyrics in light of that.

It's like.. hmm.. like he's been wandering, and together they are holding this convo on how to convey their love to each other, then finally learn to accept it. But you only get the whole story by listening closely.

Indeed. I especially love the 'Teach Me' title and message of the song. It adds a very curious side to love unlike the normal irrational attraction often associated to it.

And the vocals.

*nods* One thing I am learning as I get older. Love, in all its forms, it not really about the fairy tale story that gets so much attention. I mean, that bubbles to the surface and is a part of it, but love has so many layers.. and it's the interaction of these things happening underneath that forms the foundation of that surface image people so treasure. Love is just that deep.

So when songs talk about those layers, it's more genuine in a sense. So like you I too like the curious side this conveys.. it's like "don't hurt me please, cuz I want to know more.. not for my sake really, but yours. To do that though, I have to trust you and hope that I don't hurt you either." There is this apprehensive desire.
