Yeah, I've been busy in a good way. Just make sure to take care of yourself, okay. If you get to feeling too bad, it will just make things worse. *pats head*

@melly; *^* I REALLY LIKE THAT.
class is now in session.
planetary science
sometimes also referred to as planetology, planetary science is the study of, well, planets. this includes the planets themselves, planetary systems, and any moons or orbiting objects they might have. this field is very interdisciplinary, meaning it is actually the study of a number of specific things that are combined under one name and considered one scientific discipline. in this case, of course, it covers the various studies of planets.
galileo is considered by some (including my old professor) to be the 'original' planetary astronomer.
can anyone guess or speculate as to why?

the game itself takes itself rather.... unseriously.

He was one of the few people to consistently observe planet through Telescope, I think. Probably Jupiter or Venus, I don't remember which.

not too far o: he wasn't the first to discover a planet, but like roomy said, he observed and studied the sky very intently, discovering many things in that pursuit. (among other things, he discovered the largest of jupiter's four moons)
there are a number of disciplines under planetary science, would my adorable students like to go over some of them, talk about any planets in specific, or something else? *^*
