VALERIY: Indeed, but I'm more excited about Hind's 40th Birthday, that beauty is part of the USSR legacy along with the venerable Kalashnikovas and the many beloved military units like the VDV, Spetznaz and Vympel.

Yeah here we also have our share of Hinds. They are beauties. ^^
LCAC are really interesting piece of technology, but still Hind is soooo bad-ass. ^^

VALERIY: Not sure if this is meant to be an April Fools joke or not but Lucky Gunner has released a new shot for 12 gauge shotguns, Tacnition Ammunition or "Anti-Drone Buckshot".
Loaded with 9 pellets made from depleted uranium, the stuff Anti-Material rifle rounds and tank shells are made of, a box of 5 shells comes at about $17.76, quite a bargain price but that kinda adds to my suspicions of this being a joke.
…
Drone Loads are intended for entertainment use only and not intended to be used in any manner not in accordance with federal and local laws. Lucky Gunner assumes no responsibility for any illegal activity involving Tacnition Drone Ammo
EDIT: This article is fucking genius.
Take that up to the fucking politicians.

Years of research and development have gone into these highly effective 12 gauge shells that can turn even Joe Biden’s double barrel shotgun into an instant anti-aircraft platform. Specially formulated propellant is capable of launching 9 pellets of depleted uranium rounds up to 1 km straight up into the air. With accurate shot placement, this armor piercing buckshot will disable vital systems on modern military drones. At minimum, the force of impact will disable navigation systems, but in over 60% of our field tests, the drones were incapable of remaining airborne after contact with our Anti-Drone Loads.…

From what I know about guns the anti-drone is an April Fools joke.

Time for a photo op,
here are the Chinese made Norinco SH-1s purchased by Burma on parade at their 68th Armed Forces Day Parade. The SH-1 is a 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer mounted on the back of a truck and are fitted with computerized fire control that uses data sent from an Artillery Command Vehicle. The 6 wheeled beast is lightly armored to protect operators from small arms fire and are able to be airlifted by medium sized aircraft.
For self defense, the vehicle is mounted with a 12.7mm Heavy MG based off the Soviety DShK 38, which lovingly packs a lot of firepower in itself.

^Nowhere near the sexines of SpGH mod. 77 (ShKH vz.77), but it looks pretty decent. It's funny how 12,7x108mm does have less power than .50 BMG, nevertheless it's a fine cartridge. ^^
So guys what do you think of our dear North Korea an it's latest exploits?

VALERIY: They should but what are they gonna do.
Personally, I think these guys are pretty unpredictable. Even though Kim Jong Un said at the beginning of this year that he wished to better ties with the South, lot of North's actions have been as provocative to South and other neighbours.
I wouldn't really be surprised if they were to attempt a reunification of Korea much like Vietnam in '55. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if this was just a test drill and people were worked up over nothing. What I'm more interested is how China will react to this because they're pretty much on the fence from what I understand. I think if this escalated into a global conflict, whoever has China wins.
My country doesn't have anything less than 5 cents so I'll give you 10 cents.
EDIT: I felt this was relevant.

^Yeah saw that.
Well in my opinion China won't support NK in such exploit. Their economy lately is getting really well and the war would only damage it.
If NK attacks SK they'll just throw on themselves SK army, US Army and probably whole NATO will provide support. I don't think that NK would have the the gear for such a thing especially since Americans deployed B-2s and F-22 Raptors there.
Also there are Patriots and one missile cruiser nearby.
If I'd be in that chair I certainly would not try to attack it's suicidal if there is uncertainty of Chinas support. Not to mention China lately stood up against NK in matter of their satellite launch.

I'm liking this new line of LTATV that RP-AMS has announced. The Strike and Mobility Vehicles line features three LTATV(Lightweight Tactical All Terrain Vehicles) specially designed for Special Operations or Rapid Deployment, capable of being airdropped from fixed or rotary wing aircraft(like an Osprey perhaps?). They've released pictures of their first model of the line, the RP Advanced C2 Strike Mobility Commander.
Design is based off a civilian model BRP Cam-am Commander with almost all of the parts(suspension, bumpers, tires, seats, etc.) being replaced with RP AMS designed parts which are meant to be more durable in order to withstand the added stress the vehicle is meant to go through. The vehicle is also one of the first in RP AMS' models to incorporate their Fatigue Mitigation MOLLE Tactical Seat System which cleverly adds MOLLE straps on the side of the seat cushion as seen in the pictures.
The other two in this line will be designed off a Can-am 101 HP Maverick in 2 seat and 4 seat configuration respectively. All three of these vehicles are going to be shown in Tampa, Florida during the NDIA Special Operation Forces Industry Conference between May 14th - 16th. Looking forward to seeing these babies and anything else other industries have packing.

I dunno. It looks like Golf cart with some extra pipes and LMG. Hilarious but dangerous it looks like something villain would use in bad action anime :D

Well bringing up that argument, I would say a lot of C2 LTATVs look like golf carts but that is pretty much where similarities end since LTATVs are meant to withstand more rugged terrain than your standard golf cart. But then again, comparing them to a golf cart wouldn't be all that wrong since golf carts are meant to take you to your next course, these are taking soldiers to their next front.

Don't get me wrong. ^^ It's a nice thought and IMHO better than Segway for military purposes and I just find it funny for whatever reason.

Yeah, I've always seen military as a serious thing but the sight of those guys riding segways is hilarious to no limit.
