Yes. . . that demotivational poster.
Funny as it is with that caption, Kei told me that this is an actual maneuver and is used as a counter-measure against flash/stun grenades, keeping one eye covered to protect against flash and the other open to keep tactical awareness of the situation. However, considering the advancement of lens technology and those ballistic shades that feature anti-flash lenses, I imagine this maneuver has run obsolete.

^I do not think so. You can always get into a situation where you do not have those spectacles which have such technology implemented so it's good to be trained in manoeuvres that can have the same/similar effect.

You have a point there. Well, on another note, how these armor boys managed to do this(accidentally?) has been boggling my mind for quite a bit. . . I wonder if they were trying to reenact the Oorai Academy's tactic against the Maus Heavy Tank. . .

Dunno, but due them wearing BDU i kinda doub that it was influenced by GuP... Might be the other way around :D

Yeah, that was my failed attempt at a joke. Obviously, if they're wearing Woodland BDUs, this would have to be be Gulf War era or Iraqi war.

It was in my understanding that some units still used BDU due to the nature of the terrain they were stationed in at Gulf. Also I much like the DBDU Camouflage, "Chocolate Chip Camo" as the soldiers called it.

At Ease Gentlemans, your Kommandant Keirova is back in the fight.
I'm going to paint this world red, blue and white.

I ain't talking 'bout no Ol' Glory nor Union Jack or the Tricolore. There's no real meaning behind these colours, at least no meaning that isn't personal.

What's colder than a negative degrees snow and frozen soil of Siberia is the hard, emotionless steel of an airship kilometres high in the air.
