Kamp Kuzma: The Operators' Campgrounds (For Operating)

I think it's interesting thing and agree that weight can be a problem especially when it comes to CQB. When they already downgraded the ammo to 5.56 they could as well compromise between AS and SAW. I read they test a 150 round drum mag in M27 and it worked well. As I never fired any of the named weapons I can't really comment on this issue.

Well, I've only had experience with the Ultimax out of the three but even then it was only a Mk.2 so I'm not sure how much of a difference it has to the model that ran the Marine's IAR competition. Despite that, I'll say that the Ultimax is one lovely thing that I have trouble defining as an AR or LMG. Quite lightweight and made it easy for me to maneuver. I'd really love to have a go at the Mk. 4 or Mk.5 models, although they're configured to use STANAG as part of USMC's requirements so it's unable to feed from it's original 100 round drum, Mk.5 however is capable of feeding from a Beta C Mag but I very much prefer the original drum.
Also Lance, the drum you are referring to is the SAW Mag developed by Armatac and yes, the M27 did successfully test fire loaded with one of those.

Beta Mag is nice.
But is the Beta mag same as drum only drum splitted into 2 and moved to the sides?

Beta C Mags consist of two drums put to each side, yes. Therein lies the problem because now you have to develop a nice rugged system feeds the magazine, alternating between the two drums, consistently. While the C Mag does fit the bill and has run with no (official) problems so far, I'd rather keep to a more simple system if I was ever to use a drum magazine. Luckily, I have the luxury of not needing to use high capacity magazines and only have gone as far as using a double stack 60 rounder on an SAR 21 on the field.
On another topic, I was just reading about these Human Rights Watch activist lobbying against 'killer robots.' I looked at the headline and I thought to myself "jeez, these people just come up with the most stupidest things to argue about." I mean, you don't see me killing active target without human intervention.

Human right activists are bunch of retards. They want that nobody dies, but the truth is, death is invenitable in conflicts.
We have enough laws that prohibit chemical weapons, anti personell mines, cassette bombs and such.
And as a good man lance said.
A law can practically make a firecracker into a WMD. If i am correct.
Also, SAR 21 looks like TAR 21.
Who copied who lol.
Or they are just similar.
Both guns look sweet, but my knowledge of em is minimal.
Exept TAR 21, what i used in MW2.
Best AR ever.

Well both have the design similarity of Steyr AUG so look there ;)
Lol. Nobody ever called me a good man. ^^ Thanks

I really like things that go boom. :)
As far as ifantry is pulling it out I can manage most of it. There has been much less diversity between rocket launchers and RPGs then with normal firearms.

To those who have fought before me on foreign and sovereign soil, who gave their lives to protect those they love and their rights to sleep easy, I salute thee.
Lest we forget.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

And so, ANZAC day is coming to a close for me. If not for my suspension, I could've been there, marching in the parade but sadly I could only watch from the side and join them at the after party.

^I remember when we held the parade. There I saw a lot of guys from the military at the side. but they did not seemed to be bothered by not being on the parade. Probably depends on the situation.
0
Well for me, I've always marched the parade from the time I was simply a private those many years ago. It's almost a tradition for me to march the ANZAC Day Parade.

Eh, ain't that bad. I still talked with the guys after the parade ended and even some people on the sidewalk recognised me and asked why I wasn't up there. Sort of restored my faith in humanity, not that I didn't have any beforehand.
On another topic, I'm looking forward to this. Citadel is manufacturing M1 Carbines in 9mm and .22 LR calibre configuration, no price yet but there is the option of getting wood furniture stock or a black synthetic stock and the pictures of the synth look damn good. I really want to get this when they release it.

I found out that at one shop they have a sale of 5.11 tactical sentinel watches for half the price. I start hating my lack of watches recently and those lok darn good. Can't decide between coyote or black. -.-
