I spent my days building my messed up social links and then I found out that Heat went steamroller on Pacers. Not a very pleasant conclusion to me, but oh well.

In any case, has anybody cleared HM? As in, all characters cleared.
Hata no Kokoro kinda intrigues me, so it would be nice for her to be served her own story mode, which I am yet to see since I have only cleared Reimu. I'm wondering whether she really has a story mode or not.

Only Reimu and Marisa thus far. Its going to take a while to do 7 story mode playthroughs.

I take it as she really does have a story mode then. Do you have any plan to finish all of them? I would do it myself just to see Hata no Kokoro if my social links weren't this messed up.

Speaking of which, don't you think Mamizou is like a shout-out to Yukari in SWR? Her spellcards in the story mode imply that she has learned a lot of art-gaping skill from the true master. Instead of using trains however, she used her fellow tanuki to knock down the enemy if I recall correctly.

At some point probably. An event would be a good incentive to play. I dont remember too much of SWR to make too much of a comment on that. Mamizou is more of a pain to deal with than Hata.

Have you cleared DDC with everyone?

I'm going to wait until there's an English patch. It sucks when you don't understand anything except the opening menu...

As implied by my avatar and signature, I'm currently spending my free days by playing a game that I never had the chance to try due to my lack of consoles and my personal bad impression towards JRPG in general. So unfortunately no, I haven't. My current status in DDC is just about the same as what I reported to you a week ago. What about you?

The English patch for DDC and HM might be out by the time Comiket happens. Wouldn't it be better to ignore the story and learn/master the game instead of waiting?

For the sake of enjoyment, I believe. Game is not always consisted by Sound, Graphic, and Gameplay only.

Especially when your sound card just decided to quit on you and you can't even enjoy the lovely music anymore.

You are right. I did read the story for HM and DDC on wiki already. Games are defined by good gameplay only. I dont usually play with sound, even on consoles these days, and graphics are subjective. Gameplay makes me come back for replaying the game. Controls, abilities, rhythm, and difficulty make a game worth playing over and over from sunrise to moonset.

<- My latest product, of which I'm quite proud... considering it's the first time I drew lineart and followed all the necessary steps for coloring stuff, as well as the first time to "officially" color something with the right tools instead of just fooling around.
