Hey everyone, as I'm sure many of you are aware, books have experienced numerous delays this year, and I'd like to take this opportunity to provide a solid update on this. First before anything else, we want to assure everyone that the books are being worked on and you will receive them without issue.

Following some very turbulent years where our full focus was on adjusting to the world, we arrived at a point where we could afford to reevaluate our own processes as opposed to worrying about outside factors. This has been a continued effort in 2023, and while we wanted to update you sooner, we couldn't until we had something definitive to report.

Which brings us to today where we're finally at the end of this new process. It will still take some time to fully perfect, but for now, Cast Aoi is due to arrive and will start shipping in a couple of weeks. Juicy Tits is on the press, and we will continue to update you on that and more titles as they near completion. A lot of titles have received the green light, and as soon as I have ETA's I'll update that, including a few reprints.

We have a giant year planned ahead of us, and we can now confidently say that we're better equipped than ever as FAKKU Books enters its tenth year. We know it's been a frustrating experience for you, so we want to end this by sincerely apologizing and thanking you for your patience during all of this. Everyone here at FAKKU is just as eager as you are to leave this chapter behind, and we hope you decide to join us in the runup to our ten year anniversary.

I just went ahead and updated it, the only books that have changed are Sticky Lovers, Meaty Minxes, and Shindo L Hard Edition.

Our goal is to make sure Sticky Lovers and Meaty Minxes are printed to ensure the new processes are working and then we're going to open the flood gate and let the rest listed there start the same process while adding more books on there very soon too. I hope this info helps!

Received a copy of Kon-Kit's "Juicy Tits" today and noticed that the cover is the censored one.
I checked the upcoming manga releases here on Fakku and found that all of them now feature censored covers, even the digital versions.
Was there an announcement I missed about this? Forum search yielded no results.
I don't like this change and would at least like to know why the covers are no longer uncensored.

Say it ain't so. That's a mega-bummer, I can't imagine anyone being in favor of this change.

they didn't make an official announcement, but someone answered a similar question in an okumoto yuuta book thread. they did this to cater to amazon or book retailers or something similar.

These safe cover designs will likely become the industry norm (in Japan) over the next few years, since they're experiencing the same pressures as we do. Until then, we'll continue to include the more risqué version as a bonus fold-out in our releases. That's all I can say on the topic.

Because tits are sooooo risque -_-

Thank you @Galder @YQII and @newpo1nc for your replies. It's unfortunate, but it makes sense.
Maybe reversible dust covers could be the answer? Have the cover that is safe for retailers during shipping (the books usually come shrink-wrapped anyway),
and if the buyer wants, they can reverse it to the original cover.
I've seen it done with some console games.

That would add to the cost of the books though. The covers on these types of books are totally different than what's in a game console DVD or jewel case just because there's a protective sleeve over the case. Even in Japan they put a piece of paper or a paper band around the nipples or naughty parts even though it's the land where you can go to the 7-Eleven and pick up a comic lo.

Which in reality it doesn't really make sense why Amazon would have a problem since the image on the website could be easily censored and he's so pocket pussies and dildos plus porn. The covers of Hentai Manga is pretty much Tamer than some of the manga or Western porn. I mean I bought crossdressing yaoi at Barnes & Noble for Christ's sake. It wasn't even shrink-wrapped I literally saw Fanboy dong Plus the funny pictures at Anime Expo and a girl on her knees with her tongue out if you kiss my driff.

amazon.co.jp takes down nearly any hentai book, censored or not.

Its clearly stated that these books are not allowed to be sold in Japan so whoever is adding them to japanese Amazon is an idiot I guess.
