Side note: MLS season in the US started today.
And nobody cared...
I prefer the A-League.

I actually do vaguely keep up with the MLS; I follow Goal.com USA on Facebook. It's mainly just to see how badly everyone hates Beckham though...

Speaking of the CL quarter final draw, I'm a United fan through and through... I hope the team are eager to get back at them for what I thought to be a rather lucky win at Stamford Bridge. Naturally, I call it lucky because I detest everything about Chelsea!
I predict a 3 - 2 agg. to United.
2 - 0 at Old Trafford and Chelsea pulling two goals back at home, and a typical late winner from Berba or Chicharito. That'd be my ideal two games, in any case. Nerve-wracking but entertaining. I feel I have been drained of close, yet exhilarating (not frustrating) United performances of recent. My prediction isn't solid at all, however. Yes, I'll back my own team all the way, but Chelsea do seem to have put the CL as more of a priority.
Of course I suspect Barca to go all the way to the finals, so a win for them, as for Inter, only instead to be knocked out in the semi's.
Real and Spurs is a tough one for me, apparently Ronaldo is injured for the first leg, although I don't see Madrid being dependent on him as others tend to say, it is something that may deflate the team though. I feel like Tottenham can win this on aggregate if they make sure they get a decent result with Madrid's star player absent at the Bernabeu. It will be tight to the very end. If Bale does well, as he can play end-to-end, he may even be able to tire Ronaldo out, thus proving him useless anyway... If they face each other off. If I were to predict straight off, from what I've said, 2 - 1 to Spurs.

Damn missed that last post. Silly broken forums showing stuff as read when I haven't. Anyway...
DERBY DAY DERBY DAY
3-1 to United, I reckon. Midfield battle will be interesting though (hopefully De Jong breaks Carrick in multiple places), and who knows, maybe Dzeko will come good this match. Unlike Torres, he can still play football. :)

Inter keep fucking up (to my beloved Parma this time).
Arsenal draw again -___-;
City might win something :o
So I think Barca has La Liga now (or is extremely close), so this means Madrid is going to put their effort on the Champions League as well as the Copa del Rey (which they haven't won in a long time).
Interesting situations in the world....

I can't say I am not happy with Arsenal draw -___-...
As much as I would like them to win..., they were against Liverpool <3

Man United drawing though...Arsenal still have a slim chance. Beat United in the upcoming fixture and it would ramp the pressure right up. I'm not confident that they can beat Spurs tonight, but a win would do them no end of good.

That was one of the greatest halves of football I've ever seen...and I'm not even talking about El Clasico. Amazing stuff from Arsenal and Spurs, magnificent.

Real Madrid won Copa del Rey. I laughed my ass off when Sergio Ramos dropped the trophy during the victory parade. Anyone else see that?

I will be rooting for Schalke 04 when they face Manchester United in the semi-finals of the Champions League 2010/2011. Raul appears to be having a new lease of life after leaving Real Madrid.

I honestly don't know if it's bad luck or not. I've seen teams in other sports drop trophies but nothing really happened to them after that. Hell some of them even won it again the next year.
I'm going for Schalke 04 as well. It's about time a new team won the Champions League.
