If you were born in the 80s, chances are you saw anime and didn't even know it. The Little Koala? Anime. Belle and Bastian? Anime. Seriously, it's kind of startling just how much anime was really on and we had no idea until the internet came along.

Voltron man, but then again I did not know it was anime at the time. Later things like Naruto and Ronin Warriors. Then I got tired of waiting for the next episode to come out so I started watching the Japanese versions with subs.... then I started watching all sorts of anime.... went from there.

It's hard to remember. It was either Cardcaptor Sakura or Dragon Ball in french and soon after it was Naruto.

i have already seen anime as early as 9yrs old... the first anime that i watched was Voltes V and Macross... then Ranma 1/2, Yaiba, Saber Marionette, Nadia and the Secret of the Blue Water... i also was forced to watch Sailormoon because back then i would have to wait for Sailormoon to end before i could start watching Ranma 1/2 then after that would be Yaiba.... but i only thought that they were just regular type of cartoons then and was not really into it... and i would only watch them from time to time on TV... but most of the time i was playing with other kids outside...
however, when i was 13... i saw "Gundam Wing"... it was such an awesome show that i got hook... that anime show practically started my interest in anime in general... and from then on i kept on watching a lot of other anime series and i became an anime fan... so, that is why i voted for the 11-15 bracket...

Ah, to be a young Australian in the early 90's.
Anyone remember SBS's anime hour? (Neon Genesis Eva, followed by Bubblegum Crisis 2040)
Got me hooked, in 1996, or something like that (Memory's a bit fuzzy)

Metabots, Inuyasha and Azumangadi-oh! where the ones that got me into anime but the thing that sealed the deal was Apple Seed. When I saw that movie I just fell in love with the art style of anime and generally kick-ass mech action.

I believe somewhere around age 4 or 5. I the first animes I watched were Dragon ball and Sailor moon.Oh shit, if we're including those two, then I need to re-vote from 11-15 to 4-5 as well, lol.
