Well I've been using chrome today and I can't seem to see much of a difference between firefox and chrome.
Anyone want to fill me in? Thanks!~

Google Chrome > Mozilla Firefox
I think the speed for chrome is faster and it also has the incognito tab.

Google chrome (although not a fan of google in general) is freaking awesome. In my opinion it has a better layout, and more importantly a better system for downloading and keeping track of recently downloaded/saved content.

I'm still using firefox atm until I find something really fascinating that will make me switch to Google chrome.

Its been about a year since I've used Chrome but I'll try to remember my best on why I hated it. I remember feeling that it was incomplete, like somebody had given up on it half way through. Why can't I view background images? Why do I have to open images in a new tab? Why do tab names disappear once too many are on the bar? why can't the download bar just GO AWAY? I recall having a few other complaints as well but I can't remember all of them. It's just simple things like that that hinder the entire experience for me. With Firefox it's so just so much more simple for me. I have my setup minimized (as seen below) with the loading bar integrated in the address bar and the download bar plug in automatically clearing after five seconds so the UI has absolutely no fuss at all.

What's better is Firefox has Flashget support which is a real hands down when you're living off a capped broadband plan (although Chrome might have Flashget support now as well, its been awhile). I'm definitely not saying Chrome is bad, though. I especially love its eye candy and load time. But I won't be using it till it addresses its flaws which to me seem pretty obvious (though I think I may be the only one upset by them).

The thing I don't really like about Chrome is I don't have grease monkey no more! Otherwise, the tests of speed seems to be on par with firefox for me. I can't decide which I want to stick to using. I mean, there's no clunk of crap on my bars now and everything seems like it's been removed.
Like someone said before, it made things simpler. The image thing is pisses me off though.

Chrome uses the Webkit engine which gives a mild improvement in java module loading. I use Firefox because I can't part with my NoScript.

Firefox. I've tried both out and the only thing that Chrome has over FF is h264 support with html5 really. I've tried a few render tests and FF just blows Chrome out of the water. Chrome also doesn't have NoScript which is a huge minus in my books. Also, Firefox has GPU acceleration in the works and it is currently working in the daily Minefield build if you want to check it out. Lots of other neat features there too - just search around the start page. Tip for those of you who watch a lot of flash videos is to get the Flash 10.1 beta as it has hardware acceleration to make things run a bit smoother. I do like this healthy competition going on though as it will only result in us users getting a better experience in the end as each company will try to come out with better ideas over the other.

My primary browser is Opera, but I have to say both browsers have their advantages and disadvantages.
Yes, Chrome is faster than Firefox (some browsers are marginally faster than others) but Firefox has had a larger user base and more addons. However I would choose Firefox any day over Google Chrome. Why? Because Google Chrome isn't entirely open source. I'd rather use Chromium or Iron over the Google-branded Chrome.
Also for Firefox, there are a few Firefox derivatives, i.e. most notably the Pale Moon Project. Unlike the original Firefox, the Pale Moon project seeks to compete with Chrome in speed, and have the same plugin compatibility with the original Firefox. I don't know how it compares, but it should be better than the original Firefox.
EDIT: I have just tried the Nightly Minefield release, and have been very impressed. It seems comparatively faster than the Chromium stable release. I think Mozilla has finally realized that the need to speed up the browser which is now lagging behind Chrome and Opera.

I've been on firefox since its early days so I'm too used to it to switch to Chrome.
Unfortunately Firefox is a big resource hog :|

I use chrome because Firefox crashed to much, but they both have their ups and downs. I will miss firefox's personas. =/

When i tried Chrome out, indeed it looked pretty fancy and nice, but i didn't see anykind of difference in the speed for myself.
So i am using Firefox since it has these pretty useful addons as well.

Firefox hardly ever crashes for me. OTOH YMMV, since it's almost always flash that crashes Fox. They're about to solve that though, so soon enough it will be on par with Chrome stability wise.

I meant that Flash will be further isolated. It will keep crashing but the rest of the browser (your other tabs and what not) won't care.
