A. Customization
B. Better XP theme support
C. The difference between Chrome's speed to Firefox's speed is > 4ms right now, the only reason it looks faster is because of the way Google Chrome renders pages. I can wait an extra 4ms for everything that I get with Firefox.
D. Ad-Block Plus, NoScript.
E. Better interoperability with windows applications.
For those of you who think Firefox is complicated, learn how to use a computer properly.
As for you Google haters, I don't know if you've heard their slogan "Don't be evil.", but they're not a syndicate, it's simply a company that was put together to collect all of the information in the world. Treating them like Microshaft is not cool.
They gave us Android. 'Nuff said.
I will +rep you for the Pale Moon browser link when I can, this is pretty awesome.
@Nashrakh - Best XP OS mod ever, so goddamn fast and minimalistic.
Agree with everything said.
As for the performance XP edition - why not just nlite your own XP CD and customize the way YOU want it? you can do everything he did yourself fairly easily.

You sir, have just given me a great link. It's been so long since I've heard anything about nLite I had forgotten about it. I remember it being a command-line application though. Not many people are that savvy with computers. Then again that was a while ago, and it could very well have been a different program I had been using at the time.

Wow that nlite what not looks good. As for me I'm more of a W7 man. I just love me some aero snap and transparency. Not to mention the explorer. Back in the day though when I was trying to run Crysis with a 2.2GHz Sempron that would have been nice.
Any Safari fans around? I still prefer Firefox over it, but I preferred Safari over Chrome.

Well I use firefox for general but on facebook which uses a lot of flash, I use chrome.
I also think only the flash thing especially flash games hog all memory leaving fox out of memory and crash.

Chrome has AdBlock, using the the Google Chrome Custom, Easylist and Japanese filters I have yet to see an Ad anywhere on the web. Also, you can turn off Java Script without the need of an AddOn. With the click of a button, you can instantly add a rule to allow or block a site.
Sure, there are a few minor bugs, none of which many of you would actually run into or even notice.
Chrome > Firefox.
Chrome has a better engine, nothing will ever change that.

I wonder why people, especially those that frequent this site, would ever want to use a Google product again.

Google is one of my favorite organizations. For a government or economy, it's the ideal company, and is exactly what we need for technology to keep moving forward.
Edit: It's positives far outweigh it's negatives. Did you honestly not see what's happening coming?

Been using Pale Moon for a while now and I like it. It loads things a little faster, but not anything to really shout about. I think I will keep using it just because I have it now and it does work with the add-ons I like. Firefox has always been the best and they still are in my opinion. I can't wait to see what they do in the future.
I've tried Chrome as well and I didn't get a speed boost at all. I also don't care for it's looks either. Maybe I have been using firefox for too many years, but it just looks ugly to me.

Trying out Chrome.. God I love this interface. I just WISH for the love of god they'd fix the download bar already. Like honestly how can you go for a minimalistic approach and then add that massive ass thing. At the very least add a auto-clear. And no plug-ins to fix it? that's just weird.

I haven't had one of my downloads drop yet. I'm using 7 x64, so if anyone should be seeing instability, it should be me. I remember it dropping 1 or 2 downloads every once in a while, but that was over a year ago. It's your computer, not the browser. Using the latest rev. I have yet too run into a major problem that can't be fixed without a little troubleshooting.
Chrome is still in it's early stages. Both Firefox and Internet Explorer had a myriad of bugs and problems in their development stage, as does any software.
Ubuntu is Linux For Noobs, use Gentoo, Slack or Archlinux. You have no right to say anything about how something runs on Linux wen you don't even know how to use it properly.
The engine handles data faster, and in a more organized way, nothing will ever change that.

I've tried Safari, IE, Chrome, FireFox and out of them all I prefer FF. It's features are awesome, though it crashes when it gets up around 798mb. It's hit 1.2gb before.

I like Chrome due to the fact that it's simple and the welcome page, plus it's fast. I also like the web design tools that chrome has (since I have created my own website and use it to spot errors in the code). I also like Firefox and I've seen previews of Firefox 4 and that is sweet. I mostly use Chrome right now cause it's simple but I still have my love for Firefox.
As long as it's not Internet Explorer then they are both good.
