Dakimakuras anyone?

I search around and notice there's no mention of dakimakuras whatsoever, which saddens me that there isn't any love for dakis in general here.T_T

Okay question. When they come with the pillow it's like $100+ right? Do they ever sell just the case or am I talking about the head pillows?

Damn, that's pretty hot. I almost wish I owned one. Just a almost mind you, I'm not completely shameless.

You can buy just the cases, but depending on the rarely and place you get them from they can range from 2100y to 16800y or 25 to 200 bucks without the pillow just the case. Ebay is your friend... in the states.

I don't bother with these. I think these are a waste of money.

They're a bit too expensive for me, and I've already got my g/f to cuddle up with...

But if I had to get one, I'd get this one:

Waste of money, it's pretty subjective to each individual honestly, I own 200 dakimakuras, slightly more then that but I find them worth every cent .At the very least they can be used ,hung up like tapestry and stuff unlike figures that simply can only be put for display. And actually, it can cost more then 200 , especially hard to find doujin daki.
My most expensive investment was a MARKS vivio daki that cost me about 400 odd.>_>

Money isn't an issue nor do I consider it a waste of money. Anything collectible of fine quality of a specific character I like is worth collecting.

I would totally start collecting Daikmakuras more, but I don't have the money as of right now... The only one I really own is the Ellis one from the game "Record of Argrest War". It came with the special "Really Naughty" edition of the game, and it cost me the same amount as any regular Xbox 360 / PS3 game.

If I had the money though, I would totally try to find a "The iDOLM@STER" one with Chihaya Kisaragi on it, a Louise one from "Zero no Tsukaima" and one for Sakura from the Street Fighter Series. :D

Well, I have to say, I own the really naughty edition,and as far as I can tell the print looks horrendous, not to mention, it's not a dakimakura, more of makura cover really.Didn't even bother opening it.

Oh... my god, again. There aren't censors on the dakimakura! I had no idea, now I'm definitely going to buy one... anyone know an online place that isn't ebay?

Most dakimakuras are not censored with mosiac or whatever but are carefully concealed with hair,pantsu and what not. Uncensored dakis are purely doujin works and even then the not many circles produce uncensored works, Some of the more infamous ones are Illustration Gureilla and MARKS.

I don't collect dakimakura but that's quite a collection you have there.

Just a request, can you also take picture of the front and back view of the Dakimakura you own?

I love to , but it would be nice if had some character in mind. I might have something to show to everyone from my huge inventory of dakimakuras.

Beaware of bootlegs though, most bootlegs are dirt cheap like 2k-3k.Any daki made of peachskin polyester are complete fakes.
