This show is win on so many levels that I came watching it.

I find it entertaining that their logo is a Spartan's helmet inside a shuriken though. :P

I thought that they changed the logo every episode to fit the fighters. Lazy bastards won't do that.

Yeah, I just saw the commercial for this when I was watching TNA. Looks awesome. Reminds me a bit of that Discovery Channel show where they would pit different animals in fictional fights.

They're announcing Knights vs Pirates right now.

I was watching it with my friend and when they were playing those spartan fight clip I said that they should've just used clips from 300 instead.

You mean the part where the Spartans are fighting the ninjas?

I thought I was the only one with the Special Edition of 300.

I saw all 4 episodes now.
The Apache beating the Gladiator suprised me. I thought that net and trident would own.
The Samurai beating the Viking was a given. I mean, come on.
The Spartan beating the Ninja didn't really suprise me. A one-on-one face to face fight in broad daylight, of course the Spartan wins.
The Pirate beating the Knight was pretty suprising. I thought despite the pirate's use of blackpowder weapons an armored knight beats a non-armored pirate.

Next episode is Yakuza vs Mafia.
Being Italian myself I have to go with Mafia (though I love almost all things Japan). But isn't organized crime just organized either way? How could they really be so different? Well I guess we'll find out soon.

I think the mafia will win just because of superior firepower. Shit, in America, the average citizen probably owns more guns (and deadlier ones) than a yakuza member.

Yeah, going to go with the Mafia on the next one. Although, maybe the Yakuza numbers could overwhelm them...although I'm not sure how many the Mafia have. And again, the Mafia seems to outgun them since they're in weapon trafficking and the Yakuza aren't to my knowledge.

That sounds interesting, I'd watch it... I think I'd go with Mafia.
Now, I want to see Triad vs Yakuza.

I'm still waiting for them to re-air Apache vs. Gladiator episode because that seems to be a mismatch on paper. I want to see how strong they make an Apache look against a Glady. Hell, I'm expecting something that doesn't make sense.

Depends on what you think makes sense or not. I think this battle was unfair as hell because of the Apache longbow...Gladiators didn't really have good long-range weapons. And for some reason they gave the advantage to the tomahawk over the Gladiator scissor (there is no fkin way that should happen).



Either way, I completely disagree with their Apache vs. Gladiator matchup. Despite having a bow and arrow, the Apache shouldn't have had that much success in mid-close range.

The moment they mentioned the Mafia vs. Yakuza episode I was like, "how the fuck is the Yakuza gonna fuck with the tommy gun?" I am always biased against something.

I guessed who would win correctly twice and now I'm betting on the mafia.
