Subs or dubs?

I'm sure it's been said before but, whichever you hear first is the one you'll like the most.
When I watched Phantom I tried watching a rotation of sub and dub, but ended up sticking with the sub (It was better imo).
I think that when you watch it subbed you'll understand it in a way closer to what the original creators wanted. Even if you can't understand a lot of what they're saying, just the tone of voice and expression makes a big difference.
A few more reasons:
-Learn bits of Japanese of practice what you already know.
-Engrish
-Honorifics (Sometimes left out in dubs, and they can make a big difference if you know what they mean)
There are a few series which I watched dubbed though, like TMoHS, Lucky Star, bits of Clannad and K-ON (Not the best idea)

I honestly think that the Japanese voice actors are way better than the English-speaking ones. Dubs that I've heard sound absolutely horrible. Subs all the way!

I don't mind either, but in my opinion i think dubs have been taking a downfall in quality as a late
and some subs are just bad....

Subs.Only on very rare occasions do I like dubs, and even then I typically run multiple audios with soft-subs so I can listen to whichever version I want at the time.
Repped on account that I agree with your opinion and because you're rocking a Kira Kira profile pic. :3

Dubs make me get this horrible tingling in my spine that something is terribly wrong with the world at the current moment. And tend to ruin whatever feeling they were going for. So subs for me, all the way.

I watch both.I am with you on that.
If it is sub I watch it.
If it is dub I watch it.
If it has sub and has jap/eng audio with it. I still watch it. :)

I like subs better cause dubs end up losing a lot during translation, cause subs still has sum jap in it

Dubs really annoy me when I hear them, like today at Anime Conji where one of the panels showed a part of K-On in dubs. I couldn't stand it. From time to time though, dubs are really decent and worth watching.

I always felt true fans do subs. you loose alot of personalty often in the transition from Japanese to the dubbed language.
DBZ and FMA come to mind when I think of what America bastardized with its context.
I mean seriously how does an English voice actor convey a Hiroshima accent in English???!!!!
so yea I'm the guy that sneers at ppl that like dubbs.

Why would you even want dubs? Because you are too lazy to read? I don't really see the reason why, even if somebody would say "personal preference". I direct your attention specifically to Baccano and Romeo x Juliet, two anime has far superior dubs, mainly because the Japanese can't properly apply Mafioso accents or Shakespearean English in their language, respectively. These two things NEED to be in English to be done perfectly.
Another common reason would be origins. Take myself, for instance. I mainly go for dubs because I grew up with them. It never was, and still isn't a matter of "too lazy to read". However, I voted for both, because these days, I always tend to find out which is better for an anime.
The most common reason, however, still is "because the dubs are just better", like in Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and so on.
