The reason no because i live in a part of the world were there is not very much anime fans and that it cost to much to go to a different city to go to one.

Been to Tekkoshocon thrice (I snuck into the staff party once and ended up as bartender, haha), Otakon once and been a part of staff for Setsucon for 4 years now.
Tekko's definitely changed in the last 2/3 years since moving out of their hotel into an actual convention center, Otakon when I went was just awe-inspiring but hard to get really motivated about (strangely enough) because of its sheer girth without having friends/people you knew to go with and Setsucon has always been a small con but just moved up to a larger hotel this year, so it'll be interesting how it'll turn out.

Yes, I have. Just got home from Otakon a week ago and saw the Fakku booth and Jacob manning it as well. If you're reading this, I was in the Shana shirt lol.
This year's Otakon has been mostly ok. I mostly go there to buy merchandise and check panels and interviews of the Japanese guests. Compared to previous Otakons, the selection in the Dealer's Room was somewhat lacking, but oh well I still had my fill of fun.
Where I really wanna go next is Comiket, the mecca of doujinshi.

I very much enjoy anime conventions, for the most part. Sometimes the people suck, but you get that anywhere you go, so you can't do much about it.
I also really like cosplay, both for myself and to see others doing it, but as an example of people sucking, I really don't like those who take it über seriously. It's supposed to be about having fun, not putting people down.

Even thou i live in poland, we have really a shitload of conventions during the year (once a week or two in summer), I am actually a part of anime fan group that is responsible for making the biggest conventions in our capital city Warsaw. So i saw that you have traveled outside U.S. for anime conventions, why wont you make your way to Poland? Many of our anime fans who are frequently on conventions would love Fakku to be in poland (some of them even have the fakku shirts). You can come any time to poland and i assure you, there are some anime convention by the time you come.
Maybe someday you will be able to afford such a trip.
You all are welcome in poland for a lot of anime fun!

I've went to otakon every year from 1999-2005 (they got to crowded for my liking) then animenext and animeboston(was there for first 2 years). I'm been going to Another Anime Convention in nashua,nh this year if my cash flow allows.

Only once: this year at A-kon. It was pretty cool.
The next time the cash flow is good, I'll go to another one.

Ever since my little one outgrew his diapers, I've been grooming him to be a cosplayer xD I attend conventions because I get to dress up as my own original characters and feast my eyes on all the figures that are on sale. I'll be pairing up with my boy at this years AFA as Tsunade and Naruto.
Hahaha, I am ready for fanboys to flip tables at how "unstacked" I am unlike that character. Lols.

I'd love to go to one, but either they are never close enough or if they are then I usually have other crap that if cancelled I'd get hell from someone.

Yes, too bad there aren't many conventions in Belgium so I have to go abroad most of the time. I've been to 5 conventions so far and cosplayed on every single one of them :D

I've gone to AWA here in Atlanta every year for the past 7-8 years. For a while it got better each year, but it's b recently been overrun with kids who watch only Bleach and Naruto and think they know anime. It's really put a damper on things, but my friends and I keep going as a sort of vacation.
