Unfortunately, singing competitions are always too full of girly songs, and most (if any) of the guys that sing are totally gay. I don't like that weird, excessive smiling they do.

I've been to a small con called Generacon four times and I've been to Otakon once. I loved Otakon soooo much! I got to see so much and bought WAY too much.

YES and i loved it, was in 2008, id kill to go back, i want to cosplay (basically an excuse to whore it out ahaha) yeah its costly if youre pretty otaku! but its so damn worth it!!

I went to my first con last week otakuthon in canada it was the bomb :D Great panels like the Fullmetal cast showed up not to mention quinton flynn (metal gear solid, final fantasy kingdom hearts voice actor) never seen anything quite like it made friends and had a great time volounteering, didn't cosplay but I was inspired by the quality of the ones I saw there here a glimpse of the event http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIhjVwv827Y I'm so happy with how it went I'm dropping by anime boston next year!!

anime conventions are very entertaining and lively, and for me as a cosplayer and an otaku it is like heaven due to anime stuffs...

i live on punta arenas, chile, in the end of the world (google it) and we have severals otakus community who makes a lot of animeconvention over the year. i'm 27 and i'm going to anime conventions since i was 15

i'd go but they are always in California or new york or boston.. bring one to cleveland... at least we're not detroit.. we're not detroit...

I've been to a couple. Since I'm a Canadafag living in Alberta, I've only been to Otafest and Animethon. I raged when I was in Japan cause I missed Comiket by 3 days...
