I went to Otakon a couple times. It was really fun! I really liked going to them. I met a lot of cool and er.. interesting people there that I still actually talk to. [ luckily, I'm going back to Otakon again this year too. x) So, yay! ]

Went to a yearly in-campus anime convention thrice, went to a comic convention (same venue as the anime conventions) twice, went to a major anime convention held in a mall twice, I think.
It's a big advantage to have a university that embraces Japanese-related events like those (and the local comic convention is more of a mix of local talents and manga-inspired artists). Also, admission fees are so affordable so it's never a hassle to join in on the fun. :3

Been to the biggest con's arround here, and going to the next one in august. Always fun and easy to get in touch with people even if you have no social skills at all, and when you live in the country side it's an easy way of shopping for the rest of the year

The closest one I could go to would be one in Orlando. Most of the anime cons are usually in someplace like California. I can't go because of lack of money, a car, and the distance.

I've gone to Anime North twice, but there's a lot of weeaboos. Still, Cons are really fun with friends.

I am planning to but all the conventions held here either fall on a date when I have work or something important to do.

I went to AWA in either 99 or 2000, don't remember with.
I've attended AFO (Anime Festival Orlando) for the past 6 years straight so far and I'm looking at my 7th yeah this August. Though this my be the last time I go as it's turning from an anime con to a freakin' Power Ranger con.

I just went to Anime Expo. It was nice and all, but since I live in San Diego it pales in comparison to Comic Con.
