No, my friend seem hell bent on getting me to go to one though, and it is not as if I don’t want to go, but the big problem is lack of money and a car at the moment. Exactly what I was going to say.
With economy the way it is right now, I probably won't be going to one for awhile.

I live between Dallas and San Antonio, so I'm never anywhere near a convention. I'll be graduating soon, so I'll probably move out when I find a job. If I move to Austin/Dallas/Houston, I'd be able to attend one.
Or I could find a friend who frequently attends conventions, and carpool with them. I don't have any that do, though.

Been to AVCON, I'm going this year also! 8-)
If I had the money I would like to go to Supernova in one of the Eastern Capitals (I live in Australia)
If I SERIOUSLY HAD THE MONEY I would go to a CON in the US or Canada!

Got the chance to go to Anime Expo this year. It was pretty good, though the crowds were even thicker than last year. I'm starting to think that the LA Con center won't even be able to hold it soon. I got to hit the Fakku booth and grab an awesome T-shirt, unfortunately you were not present at the time, Jacob. I saw you roaming around the con though, so it's all good. Missed the ESPN zone meetup though, was busy at the time.
If you can get a booth again come on back next year, it'd be sweet to see you guys again.

I'd go if I wouldn't be going alone. I have absolutely no idea what the outside world is like (slight exaggeration). :P

My advice, pick your conventions... some are simply boring, but some really go out with a bang! So much that tickets are already sold out even before the event...

Well... Of the choices, I guess I'll have to pick "yes", although it wasn't purely for anime.

Maybe someday, since in Philippines there are some but I don't usually go there since I might spend too much on things, hehe.

Yes, had it once. The Anime Overload convention, to my conclusion it was great, since it my first time i was confused on what to do; cosplayer hunt: the ladies are too busy for some picture, booths: good items are sold out, games and much much . Now I have a battle plan next convention xD

I have attended ComicFiesta in 2008 and 2009. This year, I dunno whether I can go or not because my elder sister will deliver her first son or daughter. ComicFiesta usually held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Subang Jaya of Selangor, Malaysia.
