Raw is good. Rawr. Bad when rotten though, the taste would be uber vomit (accidentally cracked a rotten egg into my mouth once)

I used to like eggs with all its variations. Now I just prefer hard-boiled eggs, and I just eat the egg white. Egg yolk is bad for the body.

I've got a weird food squick about eggs. I ADORE scrambled eggs(and similar appications like omelets), and egg-based cookery like custards and the like... but I can't STAND them any other way. Hard boiled, soft boiled, fried, poached... they all turn my stomach. I absolutely can't understand it.
The one exception: my mom's recipe for Pickled Eggs and Beets(Hardboiled eggs and beets in a sweet, spicy brine), I adore and eat by the threes... the eggs at least, I can't eat the beets, they taste like boiled eggs...
Like I said... weird.
However, my favourite application, and an egg's single greatest aspiration, is Pain Perdu (aka French Toast).
