REP ETIQUETTE

I'd like to start off by saying that just like real etiquette, this is completely unimportant unless society deems it important. Not many people actually care about rep because we know most people get it just for uploading doujins and videos. This does not in any way represent one's character. Some are so desperate to be accepted by FAKKU that they create several accounts and bonus rep themselves til oblivion. (JACOB isn't even first in rep!!!) Now, I have stepped on a quite a few toes in FAKKU... (at one point i was down to -7 rep). Now i would just like everyone to visualize someone giving negative rep... the mere thought of it makes me cringe because of how pathetic it is. Again, i do not care about rep but it makes me wonder what kind of person would do it. Here's my logic: If you are pissed off at someone, the only way to knock him down a few pegs is to explain systematically, coherently and concisely why he's wrong and a complete and utter douche, otherwise you are wasting your time. Arguments: 1)When i get owned by someone i do feel embarrassed but i learn and that's good. 2)When i get -rep, i don't even know what or who happened and why the upset. 3)Why give -rep when you could give +rep? There is always someone who deserves +rep more than that guy that you are secretly pissed at. 4)It's just pathetic to give -rep. I created this thread so that everyone could voice arguments FOR or AGAINST my opinion and add more rules to rep etiquette. PS, if you minus rep for fun, I'm not talking about you. But i don't understand what's so fun about it... your just pressing a button that won't affect anything unless whoever has the rep actually cares that he has rep... Edit: Here's a link to The Poll.

I had 19 rep once, that is until the Visigoths came in and burned my crops. Now I'm left with 14. 14! HOW AM I GOING TO FEED A FAMILY OF 10 with just 14 rep?!?
But I completely support the removal of the rep system. It happened before and there was a marked drop in bullshit.

By April 23rd I will collect all the arguments in this thread without repetition for cons and pros. And if you have any additional testimony you would like me to include, feel free to send me a pm with it.

It's probably going to be in the form a Word document.

This was on page 4 and I'm still holding to it. It's all i can do.
