Scariest movie you ever seen

If I remember right, it was called Nightmare On Elm Street. I saw it when I was 11 and couldn't sleep for shit. Freddie Kruger was fucked up.

If they ever make a movie version of 1000 Ways to Die, that'll be the scariest movie ever. That show makes me so fucking paranoid.
Throwing this out: Poltergeist. Now, I haven't seen the movie in probably over a decade, but it scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. Several times. That fucking clown, man, that fucking clown . . .
Also, the old guy from Poltergeist 2, I believe. He was hardcore frightening.

That movie is part of the reason I hate clowns.
But monster movies and shit don't scare me that much. I'm more bothered by natural disaster movies, because they can actually happen.
I think Dante's Peak fucked with me the most, because I was so young.
Also, the scene in which the Grandmother has wades through the acid...is messed up.

A Tale of Two Sisters, the original Korean version, scary and beautiful film.
I haven't seen it in a while, but I remember Salo was pretty... disturbing.

For me, it would have to be The Exorcism, or The Omen. Never been a huge fan of scary movies, just for the fact that I usually get kind of bored halfway through.

Old school horror movies.
Exorcist
Nightmare on Elm Street
Poltergeist
Etc...
Now movies are more on screamers, which later on won't give you goose bumps when you recall some scenes. Old horror movies REALLY leave a chill late 70's to the 80's and early 90's.
