Scariest movie you ever seen

I must say that "Mirrors" qualify as one of them. Sure, the ending sucks, but damn, mirrors are fucking scary as it is, without my mirrorimage riping my head in half by my jaw when I'm taking a bath... Man, that scene almost made me puke, and I usually like scary movies. Couldn't go to the bathroom for a while after, mirrors everywhere =(

well, movies have never scared me like books have but...hmm...well...The ring i suppose, the remake, 'cause however scary it was, i were seriously bored to so why bother get the japanese one.
The most disturbing one is however "one flew over the cuckoo's nest", really made me want to puke because it depicts something that was not long ago a reality.

the grudge series freaking scared me...
couldnt bathe properly for a year or two without thinking something would fall from the back of my head... [i have brown hair... so if black hair falls it would be pretty damn creepy...]
but there's this horror/comedy one... it's kind of more freaky than scary, but it's called "Idle Hands"
wanted to watch shutter but i didnt get the chance to... 4bia sounds like quite a scary movie too... >_<

I've never been scared by any horror movies (which sucks because i love being scared), but the two best horror movies I've seen are probably Videodrome and Scanners, two David Cronenberg classics. Man i really need to see more of his movies, those were amazing. :D

For me it would have to be Childs Play that movie scarred my childhood so much dolls are evil! Oh and also IT, that movie made it impossible for me to be close to clowns. :P

One movie that still freaks me out, to this very day, is Puppet Master. To me, it proved to be mildly entertaining, with some suspense. Didn't really found it scary though.

I think the movie scares me because I really hate puppets. I don't know why, but living dolls just freak me the fuck out. It's sort of like how some people can't stand clowns at all, so movies with killer clowns really scare them.

Has to be Stephen King's It. Saw it waaay too young, scared the crap out of me. My parents thought it was funny. Bastards."We all float down here..."
So can't trust Ronald Mcdonald after that movie... But I know what thats like, I saw it much too young as well.

I get scared when ghosts are involved or when unexpected things pop out. But Psychological/Thriller Movies like Disturbia and "The Uninvited (2009)" Really scare the hell out of me. Really recomend this two.
Ju-on 1 & 2, The Ring

The Uninvited was a lame remake of the Korean film A Tale of Two Sisters, now that's a real psychological horror film.
Probably the most disturbing/scary film for kids was The Garbage Pail Kids Movie.
Ugh, just seeing pictures...

Yes. I know The tale of Two Sisters and have watched both movies. Both of them are awesome and scared the shit out of me.
But The Uninvited mostly developed its own story as the movie progressed, so it stood on its own as a weird remake, but a good psychological movie.
The Tale of Two Sisters was also awesome, seeing as it is the original, but it had many holes that wasn't filled and that lead me to being confused on some parts.
The reason I prefer the remake is, not only was the plot carefully planned so nothing would clash in the ending, but it also explained everything that happened in the movie itself.

I see what you mean, I'd +rep you if I could right now.
I guess I just prefer the bizarre themes in A Tale of Two Sisters, and the confusing parts and holes make the film seem more... haunting, I suppose. Well, for me anyway.

YES. That is true. I think the directors purpoely left those holes so that our imagination could run wild and scare the hell out of us even more.

Seriously the only movie to get me a little gittered up was the movie Quarantine. The only reason I liked it was because of the realism.
