For me, it's The Exorcist. I first saw parts of it when I was a 10 year old, and the parts that I did see had me sleeping with the tv on for weeks. To this day I have trouble watching that. Scary stuff.This. Other Movies didnt really scare me when i was a kid except the first Resident Evil Game, but that doesnt count. xD
Now i would go with Paranormal Activity. When i was child i was really scared at night, so this awoke some bad memories.

I thought the exorcist was boring and funny at times.
I haven't seen the other 2, does anyone know if they are any good?
Jeepers Creepers was sort of scary, but it wasn't full of horror...

I always find movies that are ment to be scary aren't.
It's all about the worry for me if you know what the bad guy is going to do there is no fear for me since I don't worry at what the bad guy is going to do or what he or she is like.
Which is why I found ET the scariest film ever for me. I expected him to kill those kids at any second.

I've seen that, both movie (first 4BIA and the second one) and yes, it's almost made my day... gone.

I have seen a few of the movies most guys here mentioned, but the one that probably had the most impact of me was Ju-on. Watched it when i was a kid, and till today I dare not sleep with a blanket.

I never really watched horror movies. All I can remember was The Leprechaun when I was like in elementary school.

Get Jinxed
I have never had nightmares from watching a movie, and I tend not to get very scared even when i was a kid but if i have to choose one i would have to say that's some scary shit right there.

I appreciate The Exorcist as a classic horror, but when I watched it I literally fell asleep on the floor in front of the fire. That's not as bad as when I watched Battle Royale 2, when I went downstairs, lay in the hallway and lost consciousness.
Anyway, gorey/shock stuff doesn't scare me. I get freaked out by creepy, unsettling things. I actually couldn't watch the end of the Japanese original of Dark Water even though it was broad daylight outside and I was hugging my dog for protection. Then put on SAW or something on and I'll just get bored. The Ring made me uncomfortable around turned-off TVs for years.

The original Shutter was pretty good and had a twisted end. But any movie with a killer doll scared me shitless as a child.

Ju-on the Japanese version of the movie "The Grudge", creeps the hell out of me. That sound the ghost makes is what really gives me the creep.

When I was a kid ET & Jurassic Park scared me... the latter more with its gore than horror though.
Now I like to think I'm more immune to horror movies, and I think I am, but strictly only if I watch them somewhere not in theatres, like my computer or TV. Thanks to asian-horror-movies.com I've watched a bunch of stuff, and none really stuck with me to the point of getting really scared. The 3 Extremes, I've only watched Dumpling but I love it, it makes me really hungry for some reason and I always end up wanting to eat dumplings after hahaha.
I also watched The Grudge 2 on tv a few months ago and didn't really feel anything... granted I was kind of watching it halfheartedly while doing homework. Also Syfy was marathoning Saw a while back, and I caught Saw II and III I think. Didn't really feel anything either, I think watching crime dramas regularly on TV has really desensitized me to violence...
I watched The Ring (US version) in theatres when it first came out though, and I think I was in middle school/first year of high school so it scared the shit out of me, even with a jacket/my hands covering my eyes through 70% of the movie. I couldn't sleep for a week after...
