Share your weird dreams or nightmares
0
It's been awhile since I made a thread. Anyways, like the topic header suggests, feel free to share any weird dreams or nightmares that you have or had if yall can remember. (I'm not talking about your aspirations but like the dreams you get from deep sleep and out of the REM cycle.)
To start off, I've had this weird dream when my parents were driving on the highway back home night. It wasn't a dream per se but a surreal imagination. I was in an empty classroom similar to Japanese classrooms with a green chalkboard and white and black checkerboard linoleum tiled floor. Nothing happened except for the fact that I was just simply observing the classroom from my perspective.
Contribute or discuss as you want.

......bad premonition........

Red-colored sea you say? Perhaps the red signifies blood ties than danger, and red for dangerous passion than a warning of death. "My love is as deep as the sea," aptly fits.
I wouldn't put much faith into dreams, however scary they may be. Dreams are the random firing of synapses in the brain when coming out of deep sleep and between that and the end of a REM cycle.

Ok, if anyone knows anything about dream analysis let me know. I recently had this dream that zombies were popping up everywhere in the city. So I went to the country, and as I walked up the this fenced in area with a shack built into it, I came across two talking pigs. They were standing on their hind feet upright. they started talking to me but I can't remember what they were saying. Anyway, they attacked me with axes, so i promptly buggered off. However, they kept chasing me. Eventually I got sick of running, looked down at my hand, and I was carrying my knife (hand made in Finland, perfectly balanced throwing knife). So I nailed one of the pigs right in the head with it. Right as I pulled it out the other pig stepped out from behind the corner, and lobbed his axe at me. At this point I woke up. Typically I don't have dreams this vivid, and I haven't been doing drugs for over a year now. Any thoughts?

Here's my dream.
It was apparently the evening when this happened, and I was wearing a necklace(don't remember what the shape was). Whenever I turned around in my dream, it seemed like people would turn away, and when I turned away, it seemed like they were all watching me. Also, they kept talking behind my back. Then, for some reason, I had a knife in my pocket and murdered 3 people from school.
I ran. Everybody looked like they were watching me for some reason, even though they couldn't possibly have known what I did. And in the end, I followed some kid down an alley(don't know what I was trying to do), and the dream ended.
That dream kept me awake for 3 days.
Someone analyze it or something, I'm freaked out.
I don't do drugs or anything, but according to my psychologist, I may have some form of semi-MPD. At times I'll be violent, and others, violent violent. I mean scary violent.

Hmm. interesting. Maybe it's your own mind telling you to chill out. I'm no dream analyst, but that's the impression I get from your response to the dream.

Ugh. Crap. I hate those types of dream reads, cuz I'm always freaked out by something. That's why I hate staying home by myself without my girlfriend.
Damn. Does anyone here also hear voices before they go to sleep, like, while they're lying in bed? I rehear noises from the day.

Actually yeah. I find myself actually speaking different responses. But at least your dream has something to do with reality. I have no clue whatsoever where my dream come from.

I agree, your dream was indeed somewhat random.
Okay, so Zombies flooding the city... maybe a overload of activities or thoughts? Negative happenings?
Now the pigs... meet an asshole lately? Maybe two people you might find annoying or want to kill?
I dunno, but maybe this could help? xD I'm not expert in dream analysis.

Not really. I've actually been pretty happy for a while now. This dream just makes no sense. I'm kinda wondering if society was right afterall (in thinking I'm psychotic). Maybe I should start wearing tinfoil hats or something. Keep the government from beaming this shit into my head.LOL

Come to think of it your a lot closer to the truth than you know. However it isn't city life that's getting to me. Everywhere I go people seem like zombies. I'm a hell of a lot happier than before i moved. Perhaps I should listen to the voice that usually tells me to let things go, when it's telling me to seek revenge.

I was going to save this nightmare for later, but it seems that you guys are already busting out the good stuff. (Might be pretty gory, so a little warning.)
I had this dream just recently on the flight to Europe. What started out as driving through a town surrounded by a pine forest with my friends in a pickup truck ended up being something totally I could not foresee. (I had a bad time sleeping on the plane, hence my dream.) What got weird was when I parked my pickup truck at a log house general store when this crazy old coot pops out of nowhere and starts talking in an incomprehensible tongue. Then he starts growling and heads to the back of the house and comes around with a shotgun in his hand. Did mention his eyes were bloodshot glowing red and drool down his mouth? Least to say, my friends and I ran back to my truck and drove like mad down the straight road to wherever.
That's only the first part of the dream. Even more scarier was drive itself. Light was failing until the only that illuminated the shadowy road was the headlights of my truck and the sky dotted with few stars. Pitch black if you will. I'm driving along sweating, when I see something up ahead on the road, something white and long like a naked body... and when we drove closer, it was a fucking dead naked body, face horribly disfigured. I drove on like mad crazy. Then I saw another dead body, and another, and another, until literally, the road ahead was filled with dead bodies all over the fucking road and side of it... and I remember driving over them too.
The last part of my dream is when we manage to get back to school. Time changes instantly and it's in the afternoon. The school's main hall reminded me like old train station in the 1900s. I'm walking in Hogwart-like robes, and I get a feeling something bad is coming and I hurry down the main stairs in the main hall. Next thing I know, over the intercom, a voice announces that there is a quarantine placed in our school due to some unknown ravaging disease. People start panicking. I get a vision of one of the school's more desolate hallways with screaming students running away from the shadows, as if some sort of evil prescence was chasing after them. Mass panic, and I remember relocating myself to one of the astronomy libraries and taking refuge, only to find that the room was split between those infected and those who weren't. Those who weren't infected were standing on the huge planeterium display with the other infected students on the floor, trying to grab the students above on the display in a zombie-like fashion, from mannerisms to the voices I hear.
Some other minor things I might have left out, but that's mostly what I can remember in the dream... and it was fucked up because I've never had such a distrubing dream in my life, ever. I attribute it to bad plane sleep.

Have you been playing to much Silent Hill lately? :)
That might be the cause xD
0
No, I think I watched too many zombie genre movies and horror movies, such as Silent Hill, Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil Trilogy, etc. etc.
0
Hmmmm. You and I seem to have a problem with zombies in our dreams that make no apperent sense. I used to do a lot of hallucinogens, so what's your excuse? :)
0
None that I can think of... except for my inexplicable love for the zombie genre and the fight for survival kind of thing. I don't do drugs and rarely drink.
The thing with dreams is that they're usually an amalgation of your past memories, even those you've forgotten. That's why my dream, if I analyze it properly, is familiar to me because each and every little scene comes from something I've watched or experienced. But as for why my dream scared the living daylights out of me... must've been the plane ride. I felt very uncomfortable on the plane with a vent blasting cold air in my face why I'm sweating underneath my blanket. My dream must've been the accumulation of everything bad I've seen.

Alright I got another one. Now this one woke me up in a cold sweat. It was the morning of my first day as a freshman. I was sitting in this cassroom at a desk. the only distinguishing feature in the room I can recall was a rolled up futon cusion sort of thing and a poster of "Le Chat Noir". Anyway, I found myself staring up at where the wall and cieling meet, then what I acknowledge as blood started flowing out down the walls. During this whole time I was just sitting at my desk. then the "blood" started pooling in the middle of the floor. after it quit flowing from the walls, something started rising from the "blood" in a humanoid form. At this point for some reason I was overcome with fear (something that doesn't happen often). However, that isn't even the weirdest part. later that day I went into my French class, and it was the same goddamn classroom. Down to the poster and cusion thingy. I was weirded out the rest of that day.
