I had a dream for the second time.
Everyone in the country was poor, and the government was searching everyone and every home to find two very special coins. Thos coins were a lot bigger that the usual coins, a lot thicker and they were made of gold and turquoise precious rocks. they were soooo beautifful.
I had them, so I ran away with my mum. We met a lot of people who lived in really bad conditions and were slaves. Most of our path was in cultivational fields by the sea. We got to a small village where there were only pimps and whores, most of them were junkies.
That village was divided in 2 halfs. The half where the whores ruled, and the half where the pimps ruled. In the whores part, they could kill the pimps, and vice-versa, so we hid in the whores part XD I saw both situations xD
We lived in a really colourfull house without ceiling, because a whore was going away and told us to stay in her house ... Her house had only 3 divisions: a huge living room, a room and a bathroom. When we opened up the bedroom door there was a fat pimp getting out of the bathroom. But we ignored it... Later ( i cant remember why), my mum shot him. xD
I have these dreams almost everyday XD

Once I dreamt I was being kidnapped by about 5 guys who looked like slipknot.
When I tried to escape one shot me on the arm.
Then they used me as a hostage for a bank robbery. :(
Once I was on the subway and someone wrote my name on his death note. I was having a heart attack. I woke up with neck convulsions. NO SHIT!
And this dream was one of the only few dreams in english. English is not my native language. Propably because I watched a load of death note episodes in a row.
Sometimes I dream islamists assault or invade my country or my country is foreign infiltrated and islam and minarets are all around. :'(
Even the few dreams Americans invading Europe were not as terrible as these.
Come to think of yesterday, I once had a dream my country was divided again.
And for whatever reason I was put to the East and was held there. Even though I've never been there before or had anything to do with the German democratic republic.
I was held there for long. And some day I finally got my passport back to home, Federal republic of Germany. I cried so much of joy. I cried alot in that dream.

Recently I had a dream where I was left-handed instead of right-handed. In the dream, i was confused about my left hand being much stronger than my right even though I used my right for pretty much everything. It was an extremely pointless dream and it baffles me that I'd even dream of something so trivial when I could be having a dream about my beloved Asia-chan from Highschool DxD or any of my other waifus. I want to have a happy dream for once, surprisingly I've never had one as far as I can remember.

I had a strange dream the other night; in it, I was in a dark room, but I could see myself. I wasn't wearing anything specific, and I had this weird white stuff(like paint) covering my head. I'd note I was viewing myself in the third person. I found I could scrape the stuff off of my head, but there there was blue lines along my forehead that lead to a center point between just above my eyebrows. Woke up after that

I've posted this a few times in different threads, but it's a recurring dream with subtle differences and I'm wondering what it could mean.

Yukito-kun, this is what I thought reading your dream:Spoiler:
Makes sense. I think I ought to move on from my current entrapment, go to college, live my life the way I want to. It's true that I've felt trapped for years now. Between poverty (real poverty, I was homeless for a few months, I consistently live paycheck to paycheck and am heavily dependant on my girlfriend for financial stability), the crushingly controlling relationship I'm in, my lack of an education beyond high school and my wanderlust. It makes sense. As for the stability, probably my family, they've been asking me to move back in and go to college. Yeah I could see that. Thanks.

:!: So I was a really small kid and this was in Korea, and my family and I were visiting a friend and we slept over at their place during the summer, so the screen door to the balcony was left open since the humidity over there could probably kill you before a thief does.
I was sleeping and I woke up for reasons unknown and felt weight on my chest. I glanced at my torso and someting odd was on it. The hair on the back of my neck stood and I quickly reached to get it off of me. The room was dark except for a little light coming in from the balcony door, so I didn't know what it was, but my little brain told me to get it off. I was about to remove it, when it moved.
I reflexively pulled my hand back, and it started moving off my chest and started at the direction of the balcony. At first I thought it was a rodent, but when it moved into the light, it appeared to be a decapitated hand, and at that moment all I could do was stare and watch as it climbed onto the railing of the balcony and jump off.
I actually have doubts in my mind that it might have been a dream since everything felt so real, but since I'm a skeptic I side more towards it being a dream.
It was not a dream. It was a hallucination. Sleep paralisis. It occurs when the sleep gets interrupted in the rigid/numb phase of sleep. So you can't move. And the rigit phase is before dreaming or the dream is supposed to begin dreaming. And if sleep gets interrupted at this point you get half awake. Half awake you realize you can't move, so you feel a weight on your body and you begin to panic and hallucinating. This is sleep paralysis. Disturb factors like moonlight, noises or environment may be the cause.
Some people see a mysterious shape, some see nobody.
There are people who have this often.
I had one once when I had a fever. It felt like someone stepped over on trying to strangle me. First I thought it was my sister pulling a prank on me. Soon began to panic thinking an assasin or something trying to murder me and began to struggle. I wanted to scream but all that came out was moaning.

Basically, I had a dream (maybe nightmare) that my 13 year old sister could drive a truck better than I can. During my dream I kept thinking "What the fuck. Now this is just ridiculous!" and was a bit put off that she was driving before me. Haha When I woke up I just thought "Well that would suck..."

For whatever reason I tend to have dreams now and then involving groups of people (coworkers, old buddies from my Submarine days, friends, etc) and me trying to get somewhere in a war environment...it always starts with me running next to them and being shot at and so on and ends with us on a bridge, being halfway across and sprinting for the other side...
Never any death or pain or any of that, just a lot of running and shouting, I couldn't remember anything about the city or who was shooting at us, but I have had the dream three times at this point in the last year since leaving the navy...
As a side note, while I have fired guns for training...I have never shot at somebody or been shot at as far as I know...so ya, that isn't the reason.
Well, there is my two cents.

As far as I understand you, you always respwned on a bridge. Could it be you played war games a lot.
I had about 3 dreams I remember that look like Wolfenstein -Enemy Territory. It was just shooting and respawning. No pain or fear. Sometimes like minutes on a mounted MG, and mostly firing MP40s. One I remember there were two castles. And I fought against Americans. Some other was, I was fighting in a village and then we lost our objective and one of us shouted in English "STOP! WE SURRENDER!". And then we got captured. We were rallied in front of Americans, brits and an ANGRY frenchman. That furious french showed a blown off hand right in front of my face while babbling whatever he said.

My dad took me to an abandoned old road once when i was little. i had a nightmare a few weeks later about being on that road, walking down it, but then when my dad and brother started walking back i stayed and looked at the lake for a little bit longer. When i looked up they were almost to the corner where the car was around. I tried to walk to them but they kept getting further away so i could never reach the corner in time. When i did they were gone. That's usually whee it ended.
i dont have many nightmares but thats the biggest one i remember

I remember once I had a dream as a kid that Chip and Dale were jumping up and biting at the flesh on my legs. For some reason, the only highest spot I considered climbing up on was my Dad's lap. And they were actually biting my flesh of my legs off. It really bothered me as a kid too because I fucking loved Disney movies/cartoons. Although it's probably not considered that weird, I probably had more growing up but I don't remember many.

Weird dreams eh? I've had a few from the standard 'flying/falling' but the weirdest had to be at my parents house when I was a kid. I knew I was asleep but couldn't wake up. My house was my dream, as I was wandering through it, it went all Escher on me, walls sliding away and the ceiling warping and bending. Didn't help we had this weird stucco pattern on the walls that raised it in strange ways, so I saw faces swirling in it and talking to me.
Worst part, no drugs involved...just my own freaky deeky subconscious.

I've had a dreams where everyone in my house except me gets killed by a demon/the devil and I'm left narrowly escaping after the devil/demon calms down and then we have a rather civil discussion in which I learn I was never a target to begin with.

I don't remember many of my dreams, one of the most vivid though is too strange to be scary.
So I'm in a plain, packed with people like most plains leaving north America tend to be. I'm sitting in the aisle seat and sitting beside me in the window seat is an Alien strait out of Ridley's masterpiece. I was so paralyzed with fear that I couldn't even move. After a while of me fidgeting and no one really noticing this giant Alien man-eating menace the Alien looks over at me and says something along the lines of "I know what this is about, you're scared of me." except... It's in one of those really heavy brittish accents you associate with really wealthy old people. After this we apparently had a rather lengthy discussion until someone else noticed the Alien then I had to defend the Alien with words. I think he(it?) got kicked off the plain at the end.

Running around as a Cherokee (it's weird that I remember the tribe so vividly), I was captured and forced into a sharecropping plantation. It was a rainy day, and I spent my entire dream trying to escape, which I eventually did. What was really interesting was that instead of like my normal dreams which include many of my friends and family, this dream only had one person who I knew in real life - my pastor's wife.

Just the other night I had this dream where I was cutting off a woman's face segments at a time (it might have been me I can't remember). It started with the flesh around the woman's mouth first.
