Usually the weirdest sounding things can be some of the best tasting. Menudo for example is something I have for breakfast on my birthday every year.

There is a thing in Taiwan called "stinky tofu".
It is basically fermented tofu, but the smell is a tad strong.
Most foreigners stay away from it, but it is a very popular local delicacy. : 3
To some of us the smell of yoghurt or cheese can be even more repelling.

i particularly dont care for the texture of cowbrains, reminds me too much of pudding, a rank meatflavored pudding
edit: now that i think about it i dont like the texture of a lot of foods: i can do katsup, salsa, etc. but i wont touch a fing tomato

Menudo isn't strange at all :\
I would just say japanese food in general since so much of it is freaking weird. I'd have to say the weirdest was a cookie/cracker made out of squid that somehow tasted like chocolate. It didn't taste bad, it was just weird that the number 1 ingredient was squid meat yet it tasted like a chocolate cookie.

I haven't eaten much strange foods, but I love to try new things. I suppose pigs feet or frog is the strangest thing I've consumed.

Well, as for offal meats (other edible parts of the whole carcass of the butchered animal such as pigs and cows in particular)such as intestines, livers, lungs, and such are quite common in the Philippines as a street fare or a staple on the daily diet. I don't call eating such as strange but as the title says, the strangest would probably be insects. I've been to a lot of trips here in my homeland and in every stop that we've taken, it's quite the custom to try local delicacies and such. So far I have tried:
~A Python (colloquially known as Sawa)
~Monitor Lizard (Bayawak)
~Rice-field Rats (Daga)
~Snails
~Soft-shelled turtle

I just going to say it... poutine... it's cool if you remove the rotten cheese curds or replace with real cheese.

Due to that I haven't been going around eating some strange food, the only strange one for me seems to be that Finnish national delicacy, mämmi.
Firstly, it looks really weird and disgusting for some people and secondly, you can't eat it without sugar or cream.

A type of bean paste that Cambodian people eat. Not sure what it's called but you can imagine what it looks like.

Nothing too strange.
Turtle nuggets, crocodile nuggets, fried bread and butter pickles, and a scorpion lollipop are probably the strangest I can think of.
