To not consider the variables that motivations and attitudes have on the outcome is foolish.Indeed. I never said that you shouldn't consider intent. My point is that intent does not absolutely beget a certain outcome.

When it comes to motivations and attitudes about dropped food, they are really only excuses for it.
shaddup you
It is possible it could be a circumstance like a bride about to eat some of her wedding cake and accidentally gets it knocked out of her hands. Cause you can be sure the majority would shriek and start shoveling it off the ground into their mouths while crying about how their wedding is ruined now.
Of course, brides are completely crazy and inhuman just prior to and during the wedding. So it is not wise to hold them to the same standards as regular humans.

Then why consider it if it does not have any effect on outcome? Or are you only saying that it is not the primary factor in the end result?

Calm down... breathe... breathe...
...better?
you said it does "not beget a certain outcome".
K?
So... I was asking... did you mean that as in it had no effect whatsoever, or that it just wasn't a main factor. You left out the second part of my post. I asked that you clarify.
I eagerly awaited your reply.
But then you went all caps locks on me and now my feelings are hurt.

See? Now we are friends.
Just like Sawako and Ume.

You can be Sawako first if you want, but only if you promise to take turns and let me be Sawako later.

I, myself, follow the 5-second rule as long as it's just a dry food and on either the floor or table. I don't do wet food or dirty concrete or asphalt.Yep, this is exactly how I do it. Unless I'm at like, a public McDonalds or something...
