Oh dang, I was looking for the Marines option. Well, I don't have to join...maybe that's the one I would marry, anyway...The Marines are under the Department of The Navy.

plus in the Coast Guard they just dont take anyone you gotta score an 85% on the test they give you if you wanna join.... Army is 40%, Marines are 30%, Navy is 60%, and Air Force is 70%... (I THINK)You are referring I think to the ASVAB, in which the requirements for the USAF are at least a 60 in any of the aptitude categories. It's not a test in the same manner that most would think, it's more of an appraisal; a worksheet that says what you're good at.
I talked to one of the recruiters for the Coast Guard and he said that they are really wanting 85% for some reason I cant recall.

Also their is at least a 1 year wait for anyone who wants to join.
People seem to think it's just people on boats doing nothing but checking ports for drugs. When in fact they have Strike Teams which are basically the first people who get deployed to natural disasters and oil spills and even biological warfare zones (what my Dad does) Also for those of you who want to fly the Coast Guard does have an Aviation Training in Mobile, AL (where I used to live) it's mainly helicopters but they do have a lot of planes.

whatever would send me to the front lines, then I could return after service and say "I killed fitty men"

Me and a couple of friends have decided if America were to get attack by any country then we would sign up for the Army. Especially if they attacked the west coast.

I have a question... Can foreigners join to any military branch, here in the USA?...

Army, its a family thing for me. Second choice would probably be the Nati Girls. My brother is a j-tac and advised me against the Air force

Depends on your background, country , if you have a green card and if your willing to give up your citizenship of your home country. While non-citizens may enlist, they will find their job choices extremely limited. DOD policy prohibits granting security clearances to non-U.S. Citizens. Therefore, non-Citizens. who enlist in the United States military will be limited to those jobs which do not require a security clearance. If you become a citizen then sky the limit. I was born in a foreign country to Americans and since both parents are American and my dad was a marine on duty.. dual citizenship until the army made me give it up.

Navy would be awesome since my father did serve his military service in Finnish Navy, but due to my eyesight my only option is the army. Conscription makes sure that I will have to serve in the army because I don't have any major health issues that would prevent my military service.

I didn't know that there were different types of Armed Forces around the world except for the U.S.
If i came up to you and asked you to sign up for a(n) armed force anywhere in the world, would you? If so, which one would you enlist in?
Ex: Spetnaz, Royal(British)Army, U.S Marines, and etc.
