I'd have to say i'm in the middle. i wouldn't pay money for it, but i wouldn't turn it off or leave the room if it came on.

after going back and looking for screamo on wikipedia and you tube, screamo sucks. so my first opinion is about post-hardcore.

Never made any noteworthy contact with Screamo, so I wouldn't know.
Out of the 4 bands listed in the OP, I only know Underoath and BMTH, I don't particularly like them... to me it seems they're all about the band image, not the music itself. Although there may be exceptions as well, like always.

All they do is scream and bitch (most of the time it's both). Screamo is probably one of the worst genres of music, if you can even call it music.

Personally I do not consider screamo music. I'm not going to bash anyone for liking it, but, I'm not the kind of person who finds someone trying to pass off screaming or grunting as it seems to me into a mic as musical talent.

I don't refer to those bands as "screamo". More like "hardcore" or "scene metal". Screamo is bands like Senses Fail and the like.

I don't even consider Screamo a genre. It just a form of aggressive singing, but more often focused with what is loosely considered "Emo" bands. In which case, a lot of metalcore bands could fall in that category as well. I like UnderOath, so if people want to consider that as Screamo, then I guess I do like the genre somewhat.

At least screamo is better than some stupid hip hop genre or some shitty songs such as JUSTIN BIEBER . sometime normal tone cannot pierce our heart .. SCREAMO can!!!!!

No one is relating metal to screamo, In my comment I was just stating that in the spectrum of bad music metal (because for the most part it is never done right about 1/20k+ bands) is one thing, however screamo is on a different level of beyond rubish it all sucks.

screamo and metal are realted because metal songs are usually screams (but they not EMO) I love metal bands.....hearing their songs can calm my soul
