Pantera! Nice choice. I wish Dimebag was back with us and making the good music he did then.

also, if you like pantera, you might wanna check out corrosion of conformity and down. for those who don't know, down is some guys from c.o.c. and phil from pantera(and maybe some other guys too, but i can't find the papers from my down CD and i'm too lazy to wiki).

Ive listened to Corrosion of Conformity. While a good band (Albatross is a pretty good song), it's not what I typically listen to. I have uploaded some of the music I listen to in my thread over in the uploads section. Nothing like CoC, though, it's mainly death metal, but there are a few albums that arent death metal at all (Dream Theater/ Symphony X).

I hope to get some more later.

Although it largely depends on my mood, there is a certain assortment of tunes that I gravitate towards. I love music that has lots of harmonies to it, that's why I love acapella groups and barbershop quartets. I also enjoy classical music, it's relaxing and lets me think when I need to; same deal for video game music, although I prefer instrumentals over any vocal songs. I love Weird Al, big fan, always have been, which is why I have a liking of comedic songs. I do enjoy rock music, although I mostly only listen to that on the radio when I'm at work. Prefer classic rock (Genesis, The Police, etc.) over the new stuff, but I have yet to find a station that plays that. Finally, some odd and unique alternative bands make me happy, stuff like No More Kings, K's Choice, Marit Larsen or Lenka.

Can't stand heavy metal that's only fast drums and some guy shouting incomprehensible words at me, nor do I like dance music of almost any sort. I hate spanish music. That's all I can think of.

I like all sorts of different types of music...but I mostly stick to the heavy metal/rock genre. A lot of old school Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, Tool, Trivium, Static-X, old school Linkin Park, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Garbage, Otep, etc.

I myself like Techno J-pop the best.

Though I honestly don't know much about the types of music.
I can't distinguish one from the other.

I listen to Progressive Metal, Power Metal, Symphonic Metal, Folk Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Jpop, video game music, and epic orchestra music.

Death Metal, Electronic & Hip-Hop all day !!

I listen to every genre except Hip Hop/Rap.

Metal. But there are so many sub-genres that kick ass, that it's unfair to stick them all under one word.

I absolutely love NWOBHM bands.

Heavy Metal, Glam metal, hard rock, blues-rock, thrash metal, and most of the metal bands my fellow Fakku peeps posten on my metal topix.

I also tend to listen to Ambient music when I'm in the right mood.
