What's most important to you in hentai?

My Vote for artwork... actually the story should be good too.

On my opinion it's the story, after all, it should be interesting to read, althought artwork is also crutial..

For me it's a hard, hard competition between story and artwork. As I know I can't focus on the story if the artwork is too crappy and if there's no story it's hard for me to continue reading it. But in the end it's mostly about artwork.

Artwork... the first impression is a good one...after all, what good is hentai to be fap material if the art sucks? It's like fapping to a masturbating grandma... >_

Agreeing with the poll: Art work is definitely the top most requirement. Censorship, language barrier, even lack of story is okay, as long as the art is appealing...

But without a good storyline, the manga would just be an appealing one. The story line would be what decides whether it is worth favoriting or not.

story - everything revolves in the story .. it gives so much thrill, fun and excitement :))

artwork - if the artwork is ugly or horrible .. readers may not get attracted or readers are not persuaded to view .. the thing! :)) haha

colored - i dont really mind if its BW .. although i think its better if its colored because it gives brightness(spark??what!? haha nm :))) on the artwork

no censorship - censorship destroys the the artwork ^^

In order: story, art, language, color, no censorship.

For me, story is the most important thing in a hentai work. If I didn't like the story of the work I'm reading/watching, I just stop right there and read/watch something else.

But it's a give-take weigh-in I do with judging hentai works. Sometimes if the art makes up enough of what the story lacks, I proceed. If the story makes up for what art can't provide well, I proceed.

The other three are just enhancements for me - I really don't care if it's not colored, or censored, or it's in raw japanese format. Those can be eliminated by the ones who translate said work and provide nifty skills such as decensoring.

I gotta say story, with art in second.

I've seen plenty of hentai with poor art that was still hot just because of the story or situation. Although, good art certainly helps!

I would have to say artwork, I like it when the character looks as similar as possible to the art style used in the anime/manga they are from.

I voted artwork, but the story is an equally important factor as well.

This was tough. I originally was going to say story, but then I went with artwork because if a hentai has really bad art, I begin to lose interest and just don't really want to continue reading/watching and also won't find it hot. And what's hentai if it isn't hot?

If art is definitively bad, u don't even read the story.
And if it is in japan or something else(like Russian >.<) you cant read no more than "Uch" and "Ach".

For me, a good story is the most important part of a good hentai, with artwork and language running a close second and third. I absolutely hate rape hentai and feel that some kind of love needs to be established between the two characters that are having sex, although in the case of H's based off of manga I can let that slide a little. I also like good artwork and text that isn't word vomit, but a good story is definitely most important to me in a good hentai.
