What's most important to you in hentai?
What is the defining thing that makes a particular hentai good?

The artwork obviously comes first, then the story. the satisfaction you get from an H manga with a superb art and bad story is much more compared to one having a bad art and a superb story. after all, this is Hentai.

Artwork is usually the defining term because Gunma usually has retarded stories but it's one of the best

Artwork is easily the most important thing for me, I'd say. I can fap to just about anything, if I'm a big fan of the art. I'd say story is over language (more on that seemingly obvious contradiction below), which is over censorship, which is over color. That's assuming doujinshi, I'd imagine color would be pretty damn important to me in a video.
Story and language go almost entirely hand in hand. However, even if the material isn't available in your language, you can still generally pick up the basic idea if it's done well. The effect can certainly vary depending on how well the story is told through the graphic medium and what exactly the story is about; it's much easier to feel connected to the story and pick up the basic idea (for better or worse) if let's say it's either a tale between two passionate lovers or a typical rape anime versus just some random screwing.
Overcoming the language barrier can also have the opposite of its intended effect (ie. making it more fappable.) I'm not the biggest fan of rape hentai and its subsets (with the exception of tentacle rape.) So be able to understand what exactly is going on (instead of forming my own story, possibly) could turn me off entirely.
Take Hitou Meguri Kakure Yu for example.
I absolutely loved the art/animation for this hentai, so it ranks fairly high on my fappable list.
In this particular case, it's pretty hard to gather the story while watching it if you don't understand the language. You may be able to formulate some idea of what's going on, but it doesn't have the amazing story that draws you in even without spelling it out for you. Then you add the understanding through language, and it becomes something far harder to watch, as enjoyable as the animation may be.
TL;DR: Art/animation would be my #1.

Honestly, it's the artwork. NO matter how good the story or anything else is, if the artwork isn't good it doesn't matter. That's the same for my manga as well.
It's easy to get into the story if the art style is good; I never am able to get into anything without liking the art direction first.

it's not an option but it would be the language it's in (i.e English translation). It really makes a difference to know what's going on.

I think it's the artwork.
Even if the story is interesting ,do you want to look at ugly 2D girls???

Huge tits and a great story.....though a story has been known to do it for me a lot because truthfully badly drawn hentais aren't that prevalent in my personal experience

I kinda think that the story and language are kinda inter-related at this point, so there's not much to vote for specifically language, but aside that point, I think a combination of all those points can make or break a manga. I voted for language, however, becuase when making a hentai (especially one using the characters from a different mangaka's sotry) I think it's important to be able to portray the characters as they are. An example of this contradiction is in the Negima hentai (at least most of the English ones, anyways), and it annoys me. I like the One Peice Orange Pie series becuase they portrayed Robin pretty well, bending her character to make the sexual fantasy.
@Keneth I would say the same, but I think that the question is ranking importance, not validating it.

This was such a hard choice that I didn't even vote. I need a great story and great artwork. I couldn't vote for just one because (1) I WANTED TO VOTE FOR BOTH and (2) if I voted for just one, then the other would kill off my family, find out where I live, stalk me for 3 months (giving me great mental anguish), and then tomahawk me on the 93rd day from the roof of my local GameStop as I leave with Crysis 2 in my hands ;_;
With that in mind, would YOU have voted if you were in my position?

story and artwork that would be impressed me, but if the story and artwork is a little bit bad, i'll just go to the flow even the artwork is bad (not that really bad tho)
