What's most important to you in hentai?

I'd say first and foremost story. Even with just passable artwork, a good read has more rereading value, and that is something I would pay for. Bonus points if it is a doujin, and it adheres to and matches well with the actual story.

Of course, good artwork is highly valuable, but just not so if the plot is poorly thought out, a bad plot actually turns me off, like putting real weird shit into the story. Those stuff may be well drawn, but it kills boners faster than John Rambo killing V.C. with an M60.

Language... I have no knowledge of Japanese whatsoever, so I will miss out on puns and wordplay. But a good translation is very welcome, it doesn't distract us with details such as grammar. I wish I could read Japanese, since it will give better immersion. So language sits at third place.

Color is a nice touch when done properly, it is nice to read works that are wonderfully done once in a while.

And lastly censorship. While I would prefer none, I won't mind light censorship much. Only oversized patches and especially pixelation ticks me off.

a doujinshi without a story is (for me) considered as a wallpaper it's like when you browse google for pics.

Story is my opinion. Artwork is close in second, but with a story its not just some people fucking, its actually something that you could imagine happening in real life. (except for incest and forced/rape)

Story is always important. Color makes it look more real as well as artwork. And also good artwork can increase the pleasure of the person who watch or read it. But even if all those three are ok, cencorship can destroy the whole movie/manga. Not only it hides the important parts but also makes the screen look retarded. But language is also important cause if it isn t in English story has no meaning if you can t understand it. So overall i think everything is equally important in order for the guy/chick who reads/watch it to obtain maximum pleasure!!!!

It's hard for me to pick just one. LOL Plus, it depends on the content matter.

If it's a manga, doujin, game, or video, I'd have to go with story and artwork.

If it's just images, artwork. I don't care if it's B&W or in color, as long as I like the artwork.

I never learned how to read Japanese, so I prefer things in English except for h-videos. That is the only time I prefer subtitles only.

Although it would be nice if that pesky censorship law was gone, but it doesn't bother me much as long as it hasn't gone overboard and ruins the look and flow of the material.

Colour does nothing to me and honestly, I don't really care about the stories in hentai. Actually, if the story is too good I start reading for that rather than masterbating. Can't do the two at the same time.

Artwork on the other hand is important, but if there is no sexual dialogue of any sort it's jsut pretty pics for me. Language makes it a bit more...er... personal?

For me, if the art is good, then I'm happy.
A good story to go with it makes it 10x better!
