I'm for PC but always, but i would like some more people to build emulators because there are games like Takken,Heavenly Sword and etc. that i want to try. There are really small number of H&S games for PC.If someone knows some emulator links please sent them to my mail lancelot992@gmail.com THX :)
And also like guy above i can't download hentai from consoles...

yeah emulator depend more on the CPUs...., heard that the ps 3 used 8 cores cpu dunno what kinduv , and for the vga just nvidia 6800 series equal performance ,...

wrong, it has ppe core and 7 spe wich arent even cores they are hard to program and cant be flexible 1of them is always busy with OS and another one is shutdown, a dual core out performes it, and you also got the gpu wrong it is a 7800,

PC strength is not important i have Dual Core 2.4 intel 4GB RAM 8800GTS 512 ram graphic card and i will improve it at the end of this year i just cant find links to download emulators.

well sice you showed your specs, might as well show mine ^^.
i7 2,66GHz overclocked to 3,6GHz, 6GB of ram ddr3 at 1,6GHz, gtx375 1,7GB of ram, and its awsome... but i hate vista so mucht i want to burn it sometimes especially when im deleting stuff from my backup harddrive, or when im searching for stuff 2 terrabytes of hardrive space is a allot of space to search trough ><, emulators are hard to find sometimes, i dont use emulators becuase meh al the games i want re on the pc and ds? so all i do is download the games(piracy if thats the case.)
your pc is mid end and it should run any game in medium to high right?.
as for consoles i hated it since 3 rrod i got and i havent looked back

Yeah... most of them only Battle Stations Pacific had fps lower then 40 on Very High graphic so far... Do you have some interesting games to recommend to me to play but pls no sport, point and click and turn based games... looking forward to answer RPG are most wanted..

PC is my overall gaming machine. then again i have money to have it updated yearly =/. although nothing beats a good old rpg like the ff series on console.

PC lol. You can get so much hentai and doujin and watch as much animes as u want on it. You can do watever you want on a PC.

hmmm i picked PC........well i grew up playing Console(Super Nintendo,Sega Genesis,Playstation 1,Etc) but now that i'm older i use my PC more for gaming although i play The Xbox 360 & The Playstation 2 sometimes =D

PCs are so much cheaper and feel less restrictive. Also I use the PC for everything else might as well throw gaming in there as well.

Can I choose both? Since I still enjoy both consoles and PC.

But I lean more to PC nowadays since more than half game I played now are PC games.

I prefer the two for different things...
I prefer the console for playing "social games" like FPS's and such.
While I prefer the PC for playing games like RTS's and RPG's.

It is a close call for me but I will have to say PC on the matter since I think there's more different kinds of good games to play there, although it is still a hard call S:

I own every console excluding this generation and th Sega Saturn.
Sure, I like them for collecting as well as purism (I like being able to play a game as it was released) but for actual serious playthroughs or games I intend to play a lot, I emulate.

GameCube and PS2 emulation is fairly good right now. I often buy the game ($5-$15 used) but most of the time the money isn't going to the developers, it's going into GameStop's greedy pockets, so I have no issue with downloading either.

Then there's PC games, where a game like Oblivion or Fallout are strictly better on PC, if not for the better graphics, but the fact that I can choose what to cut from my graphics to eke out the most fps (instead of forced console presets), as well as having the option of MODS. I would say games like Oblivion are best played with many of the countless additional quests, characters, items, and realism mods available. Fallout as well. Garry's Mod for the Source Engine has taken many hours of my time as well.

I can also keep the entire GB(+C)/GBA/NES/SNES/N64/Genesis/PS1/Saturn libraries on my PC.
DS, GCN, PS2, PS1, GBA, etc. emulators all run natively on Linux, as well, which have been a huge boon to Linux gaming imo (in addition to some games like Oblivion running at full speed with Windows-parity on WINE).

And like I said in my previous post, "upgrading your video card" will still cost you less than buying a new console, and all your games will not only work on your "new system" but they'll look even better. If I upgraded my video card, I get to experience even more fps or crank the settings even higher on all of my games, as well as start testing filters or effects on various emulators while getting full speed.

My brother built his gaming PC for under $700. You can get one of those small NVidia Ion -based Acer AspireRevo's for $199 and play Source games and other pre-2004 games at full speed, run games like Oblivion or Fallout or Dragon Age Origins playably, and, of course, emulate. A GTX 280 is, what, $250, a 3.8 GHz Core 2 Extreme $80? If all you did was figure a processor and video card upgrade, it costs somewhere around the price of a PS3 or 360 Elite, there you go. An Intel chip and an NVidia card is not going to red ring, btw.
Once you "get in," that is, once you have a machine that can play new games at full settings, it'll last year YEARS and upgrades are NOT "every year" (unless you're an idiot or you really have money to burn and want to have the BEST, i.e. you're an idiot) and they aren't much more (I would say any more) than a console.

EDIT: Plus I can have HDMI out to my TV, and a 360 controller to play games. Q.E.D.

PC, always. I love to tinker about with settings and change settings around. You just cant mess around with a console. That and between torrents and emulators why would you need anything else?

In terms of preference, definitely pc. Right now though, due to the fact that less good pc games have been coming out recently and that I'm in need of a new\updated pc to keep up with today's requirements and kind of out of money, I'm seeing myself using my consoles more and more.
As to why, basically it's just the keyboard+mouse combo for me, for most types of games I prefer those, and for games that require a gamepad to be played decently (sports games or games that don't allow camera movement) I can buy one for a cheap price, so no problem there. Playing an FPS or a game that requires precise aiming on a console is just not as good, no matter how used you get to the controller.

I'm asocial: I prefer Mac. ...what? I don't think it's PC, so it should be third choice. But i'm polack, avoidant and imma on crack... Happy New Commerce & Daub! I always hated new year...^^
