Would You Date A Bisexual?
0
Hm...that's a tough question. I consider myself gay but I wouldn't mind having a girlfriend who wanted to double team a dude with me every once in a while, and she might have to be bi for that to happen. I don't know, bi girls tend to be so flaky about their sexuality, or at least are stereotyped as such. You know, Gay/Bi Until Graduation? Then they meet some dude and have 2 and a half kids and all those ladies they dated become "Oh, back when I was young I did some crazy things!" fodder at the dinner table.
I mean...I guess I would...she'd have to be more gay than straight, though. Otherwise I think I'd feel too insecure, like she was just going to up and leave me for some dude.

i have nothing against bisexuals, but i'm not going to lie, so in actuality,i wouldn't go out with one.

actually i have no idea why. i think it's partially because i was influenced by people around me who looked down on it, but my mind has been sent on not dating one. i'm not trying to be rude, but i just have no interest in dating one.

I won't deny that there are people who do that, but not all bisexuals, female or male, are cut from the same cloth. Most stereotypes do have some grain of truth to them, but that hardly means that they're true for everyone or even close.

Why is it considered so much worse to be left for someone of the opposite gender than if it were the same? If your partner leaves you, he/she leaves you. Period.
And whether a bisexual person is more gay than straight, more straight than gay, or equally attracted to both sexes and legitimately in love with you, it shouldn't make any difference. Instead of the sexuality, I honestly think you should be more worried about how trustworthy she is.
...and anyway, it's a little more complicated than "more straight than gay" or "more gay than straight" in a lot of cases. Personally, I'm more physically attracted to women, but I'm more attracted to men's voices, etc., and most of my main crushes were on men. But right now, I've got it bad for a female friend.

Hm, anyone ever hear much about that study that deduced that bisexuality in men is rare. Apparently they took a group of men and showed them erotic pictures of men and tested to see whether or not they could get an erection. Apparently few did so they deduced that they couldn't be bisexual if they weren't aroused by pictures of men.
I find so many things wrong with that study I don't know where to begin. I'm a bit insulted as well.

Meh, not offended by what you said, but it isn't like a guy's penis is the first thing I want to jump on. All the guys I've ever liked were usually my friends for a while, before I started realizing I was more emotionally and eventually romantically attracted to them. There has really only been one guy I've ever been sexually attracted to, and I'm together with him now.
I think that's part of the problem. It's not all about "OMG I want to have sex with many men!" kinda crap. Bisexuality seems to have such a horrible connotation, especially for men.
I've known I was bisexual since high school, but I never really told anyone about it until a few months ago. It was something that I just kept to myself until I felt that I needed to get it off my chest.

However, if it was a serious relationship, one that could potentially end up in marriage, the girl would have to be straight (or only, like, 2% bi). I couldn't handle the shit a bi girl would probably hand me, especially if we were married. After all, a threesome is only a good idea if you're not going to spend your life with either party.
I don't see the issue honestly, if s/he's bi or not it dosn't mean the person would want to have a threesome that kind of depend on taste. I'd be more worried if I was dating someone who were straight but had a huge fetish for threesomes.

or if she still wanted to fool around with girls at all, I'd have to turn her down.Yeah, has nothing to do with bisexual, unless you mean being bisexual should trigger some kind of hornyswitch in the back of our heads. Some people will always want to fool around before settling down and dating.

Thoughts? Opinions? Angry bisexuals who think I'm a jerk? Understanding straight guys who agree with me?
In my opinion, I think I'd have more fun with a bisexual person, and not for the threesome point of view but more like when I see a hot guy or girl walking down the street I think We could actually talk about it, make jokes or discuss it instead of them just pulling a sour line like "she's a whore" just because the person is insecure about their looks.

Hm, anyone ever hear much about that study that deduced that bisexuality in men is rare.I'm pretty sure it's because of social pressure.
An example: Say... you're in high school, in the locker room before or after PE, surrounded by loads of guys changing clothes, there is no way in hell you would look or stare at a guy's body in there. You'd be fuckin ripped apart with mockery (of being gay). I do admire a guy's body as much as a woman's (I truly do. I like men's anatomy a lot), but I would never say it in public.
Now imagine the same case, but in a woman's locker room. I'm not a woman, but I sort of know how things go in there. A woman admiring another woman's body isn't that strange. It isn't such a taboo as it is with men. There isn't that uneasyness that men have around eachother. And that uneasyness is what leads men to not like (or deny that they do like in some part) other men. Since there isn't that much pressure on women, the chance of them having bisexual tendencies isn't as rare as in men.
(this is something I made up just now based on what I think on this matter. Hope I didn't offend anyone in any way)
No offense since you dont know but I highly doubt a woman would even stare at someone in the locker room. Because their too concerned about their own appearance and if you mean in a strange manner well, It wouldnt be so strange "if" she did but then "said something" like "Wow. I wish mine were like your's :(" *talking about breast sizes* and obviously little idle chatter would start but if the situation was with a "bi" girl (which I have no idea if this is what you mean but here goes~o_o) And she's just blankly staring...well. I dont think girls would stay still or notice cause we always seem busy or occupied "but" I think if there was just a constant stare (god this sounds strange) from another woman then I dont think she'd really pay mind to it and turn head. Oh and also if your just admiring her body like nice thighs ^_^ thats ok too~ Compliments between woman isnt so abnormal I would say~
And Im guessing men's locker room (again Im no guy and just my guess) maybe that would differ greatly if you were admiring some guys body and he'd be like "Bro? D: And then either talk shit to start something~ Unless its your friend I can see how it'd put some guys in an awkward place when admiring another man's body~(just speculation of course)Ok this is my opinion~^.^~

i'm peoplesexual pansexual most people don't know what that is let's say bisexual.

Sexual preferences don't really tell how somebody acts. It doesn't say a lot of of things, other than what you feel attracted to. So of course I would date bisexual and straight people pretty much the same way. Besides: threesomes are fun.

I think its different for girls, I would never date a guy that bisexual because that means he has had sex with men...and that probably means he's guy. I have no problem with gay guys but why would want to date a girl then? Men just have to choose what side to be on, either you like women or you like men. there is no middle.
Girls are are allowed to be bi(because everyone thinks it's sexy) but I would never date a bisexual girl because they are usually whores. If I were to go lesbian I'm going full blown. no men. Just my opinion.

I'm a bisexual male. I feel attracted to the male and female form, and do not mind the sex of the person I want to be with, because it's not just about sexuality when forging relationships. It's also about getting on with them well.
Being bi does not automagically mean you are gay. You're stupid for thinking so. It means the person has an attraction towards males and females. You can't just simply choose one day to not get a hard on due to some hot chick you're with, and choose only guys.

I think what she's meaning to say is that it's more of a taboo nowadays to be bi as a guy than to be bi as a girl. Guys probably don't mind doing a threesome with two bi girls, but consider one girl and two bi guys. There's an ingrown sort of cultural taboo that says this is sort of wrong.
I disagree with that though as I would love to have a threesome with two guys once, but I'm a big fan of BL.
It's kind of explained through the idea that sex has the roles of the partners almost always divided up into a dominant and a submissive one. The differences between couples are that one couple or even one person is more extreme in the end of the sub-dom spectrum and the other less extreme. It's culturally defined that men 'should' be dom and girls should be 'sub.
Again, I'm going against the flow for being mostly dom, but that's just me.
Now if there's two girls making out there's probably a big chance both can stay sub in a threesome, apppealing to the man but still pleasing themselves. However, gay guys often are on a more strict sense of sex and one takes sub while the other takes dom. If you're in a threesome with two, according to the cultural taboo, that would mean that there's always one that doesn't fit with you.
Well that's what I think though. Keep in mind that I absolutely hate taboo's like this and most of my fetishes include the act of breaking them. =P
