Aliens...do you believe in them?
Do you believe in aliens?

I believe in aliens like I believe in sun. You don't have to believe in the sun but its there even if you don't believe in it, kinda make sense? It would be kind of ignorant to think that there wasn't a chance of alien life other than our own.
As for the other aliens, they should just come here(America) legally like a normal person. We've got rules just like everyone else.

so on general this is not the only planet in the whole universe that can support life formsWould be what most people seem to think.

I do believe, coz of two things: 1, I prefer to believe God didn't let us be alone in this vacuum we call our universe, 2, the general biosphere on Earth does not constitute the "only" niche life can evolve in. As we uncover more and more lifeforms of dazzling varieties from a smorgasbord of extreme environments (in our own planet), I can say searching for life out there would hardly be fruitless.

If they are real and are watching over us then we are fucked
If they come for resources and take us as slaves we are fucked
If they want peace and to take us as Allies we are gonna get fucked in space battles
If they think we are mere animals without brains then we will be left alone
But the point is that doesn't matter if they exist just matters if we will die by knowing about them.
PS: they might give us all flowers and cash prizes!

If aliens came here, it wouldn't automatically mean that they could destroy the human race. Just because they can build a spaceship, it doesn't mean that they can build disintegrator guns.
It's possible that aliens, if they exist, could come to Earth and get their asses handed to them, thanks to our many missiles and, if it comes to it, nukes.

I believe that there are aliens, in fact I believe there are lots of them. I believe that the stereotyped aliens with the big eyes and wonki heads, are actually from the earth however, just beneath its surface.
I believe that humans are the descendants of Aliens, and that 'Gods' as they are viewed in the bible (Not the idols.) Are actually from and or living in outer space, and wish us to progress to the point that we become awesome like them, and start planting our descendants on planets we make and try to make them awesome too.
I believe that a large portion of planets are in actuallity space craft, despite the fact they aren't viewed by us the same way we view 'machines'.
Also I believe that Gods created everything in the universe, and since I believe that the Gods are alive, I believe that they cannot create something without life on it, therefore, I believe that every planet, sun, moon, and even deep space is filled with life.
Also I believe the 'Universe is expanding oh noes' theory to be complete bullshit. Just because things are moving away doesn't mean that there isn't infinite space.

i think aliens might esxist, but how would we know? it appears that us humans just might not be able to prove or disporve alien existence in our lifetime. apparently, we have too long a ways to go before we can make machines that will cart us out past pluto. there is even this one beer nebula (i learned this from manswers) that would take more than the lifespan of earth to get to. i think aliens need to come to us if we ever want to prove they exist. it is highly likely they do though.

It's a possibility, in extraterrestrial life, since our dna itself is a molecule and there is a possibility of it forming, however, there is an even lesser possibilty of it developing the correct proteins, and there is an even lesser possibility of it developing multicellular organisms, and there is an even lesser possibility of it creating large multicellular organisms and even lesser possibility of it creating intellegent large multicellular organisms.
No. of possibility used x6 8)

I'm sure you get this a lot, but while that all sounds pretty cool, it also sounds just slightly less than completely insane.
Unless you have some sound logical reasoning or proof, which I would be glad to hear.
Also, it would take manipulation of space and time like the capability to move any mass faster than light to reach outside our galaxy for any distance.

I see no reason to leave the galaxy, also if Gods can create worlds, I see no reason for them to be unable to accomplish such a feat.
As for the sterotyped aliens, they're pale and they have big black eyes. If they were from outerspace, their pupils would be way more contracted, if they weren't blind. Also, they'd be sunburned like all get out if they were that pale in outer space.

If there were aliens, they probably would be from another planet, not just from the middle of fucking space, man. Plus, that stylization comes from fiction, so it's irrelevant.
I also don't recall it being part of the conversation.
And if they are "gods," of course they can do whatever they want, including manipulating space and time.
But it's entirely speculation, isn't it, then?

The stereotyped aliens were part of the original quoted text, so I thought you were asking about them too. And in such case I was saying that the travel through space would be too rigorous for their fragile bodies.
As for the Gods, if you believe the bible, the've left us manuscripts and have had many communications with man. If you believe the bible anyway.

I see, now. Sorry, I pretty much disregarded that comment about stereotypical aliens apparently being morlocks.
So you are saying your beliefs have no more credit than Christianity, or you are just using it as an example?

An example, there are plenty of other ancient texts that mention interacting with other worldy beings, take the sumerian tablets for example, I wouldn't exactly consider that christian.
Though, yes, my argument is based in ancient manuscripts, and if you choose not to find them reliable, then I have no way to convince you short of Samus Aran or somebody coming to chat with you.
Not that I am saying she exists.
Disregarding all ancient texts and other worldly encounters, I think the only reasoning I have for you is thus: I am awesome, I think Aliens are awesome, and therefore they are, and therefore they are as me, as I am awesome and they are awesome.
Also, how would we come up with such an idea if it didn't already exist?

Fiction? People have come up with lots of things that didn't already exist. Unless you are trying to tell me that all fiction is in fact fact that we didn't know was fact.
But that's ridiculous and frankly quite silly, both as an idea and as a sentence.
The argument "because I say so and I'm awesome," reminds me of someone I know... all the same, it's not really valid.
I accept all possibilities for a few reasons, the main one being it would be unscientific not to, but to be certain of any fact and to say that it is, in all sanity and rationality, true, I need solid proof. My head can be kindof screwy, and I can't always trust even my own experiences to be real, so I can't figure that I can take anyone on their word or experiences either. So even if I agreed with you in belief, I wouldn't be at all certain of it without proof, possibly even if I saw these aliens with my own eyes, and I was the only one to see them.
But I wouldn't want to discourage free thought, or even insanity, and I fully accept what you have said as a possibility, but it's still very unlikely.

I don't neccesarily believe that fiction is in fact, fact. I do however believe that almost every fiction one can come up with, is in fact based on fact to some degree.
So, what records would you say are not likely made up, or do you believe that likely, most records are to some degree made up?

Histories are not unbiasedly written, but you have to accept the most likely record of things, as you see fit yourself, I suppose. Along with things that you can see the proof of.
I suppose because everything comes down to personal experience in one way or another, it's just choosing what makes sense to you.
But there is always a common and likely perception of things.
And like I said, nothing is entirely impossible.
