the idea that the universe is infinite makes it possible that there is life among those other planets....
not only earth can support life... but oh well, i want to see one though...

i thought yahoos were mythical beasts until i drove to Wyoming... i never knew that gulliver's travels was based on reality. So, if mythical beasts exist, why can't aliens? Besides, are you saying that Nagato Yuki isnt an alien?

Well, technically, I honestly dont know. But I do remember my moms theory she told me once. "Think about it, look at the first alien picture that people made. Over time, the shape of the face, everything, is still basically the same. How did we come up with this shape of a head and the face? Did we dream it? Unlikely. Also, these pictures usually seem to originate in the US or somewhere like the Mayans. Maybe, a looooong time ago, aliens met the US, and made an agreement that they would keep their existence secret. How else would we even have the idea of aliens and the supposed shape of the "martian"."
Thats what she said. I still dont know.....what do you guys think about her theory?

This is my belief, and mine alone:
I do believe there is life out there, and i do believe they might be more advanced than us. Like religious people in our planet believe god exists and created the universe blah blah. I do not think so, "There is no god, but there is a creator". Some people in our planet are ignorant to accept the truth that there is life out there. Who knows, maybe they have visited us before in the last ten-thousand of years. And if they have been, and if the crop circles were made by them, i do believe they are trying to gives us a message or some kind of warning. But as usual the government steps in to cover the footprints. Maybe the "Aliens" are probably observing us, who knows maybe one of us human beings is one, trained/taught to act like us. But one day, they WILL come. And for all those religious freaks, there is NO god, like come on, why do we not believe in Zeus god of thunder or Hades god of the underworld, or other gods they us humans used to have beliefs in thousand's of years ago? Because every religion has their own beliefs, is like me saying "The universe was created by an invisible fish" of course you would not believe me at first, but i can tell you about it with logical explanations. In general, there IS life out there, and I do believe one day they will come down to us.

How do you see there as being more reasonable proof for intelligent life outside of Earth than there is for God?
There fails to be substantial proof of either.

There IS evidence, the government just brainwashes it's citizens into thinking there are no life form outside our planet. Just how religious people brainwash into others, thinking there IS a god. Religious people are no different than those of the government.

okay this been in my mind for a wild after i c this IF we cant only c in visible light WHAT IF!!! the other life form cannot be seen with visible light only??? i mean seriouly we have there must be life around this universe that we might not been able to c and maybie life form differnt planet might be closer then we think like maybie on Jupiter since we cant even get on the planet surface yet there probably life on it amdthey said in ther is an endless storm of some such but if an endless storm isent earth it self use to have no life on it and have endless storm that form new life later on?? correct me if I'm wrong ....

based on the size of the universe, which is infinite, and the theory that it is expanding, and the fact than other planets are being formed far, far away, there's a fair chance that there are other living beings in other planets, even though not intelligent.

I'd say it's pretty arrogant to think there aren't aliens. The universe is expanding and the amount of potential M-class planets in the universe is probably a staggering amount, there about has to be other life out there.

There is no way there is not live on some other plaint some where else in the universe. Now If u r talking about UFO there is something total different, in my mind the jury is still out on this one, But the chances of live being alive and smart enuff to find us and watch us is very remote. No total unlikely to happen.

Kamen Rider Cheeki
I believe there are aliens and such but i'm not sure about them being higher than us... i'm not saying that were the higher beings but, what if the are totally different from us in like, they use no technology but still has a high level of civilization?

I'm not sure if this was posted already (probably not) I didn't read the whole thread yet, but watch this:

Space is totally insane, and the bad part is we may never know. We may not even live beyond our own extinction to find out. Some of that shit is so far away, that it would take a ship traveling at the speed of light (which we may never even attain) millions of years to even reach, let alone explore. There are a bunch of other complications involved, and it's doubtful we'll be visited either (it could happen I guess..) but any species out there looking back at us will simply see a past version of our prehistoric Earth (constraints of the very slow speed of light over great distances). I've been watching Carl Sagan Cosmos so a lot of this stuff got me thinking.

I do believe in the existance of aliens.
I think it's pretty arrogant for us humans to assume we're the only intelligent beings in the universe. With our planet being but a spec in the star ocean, it's not impossible. There have to be other planets out there with habitable conditions, maybe not for us, but for other beings, who knows.
Some scientists thought it impossible for life to proliferate without oxygen, yet not too long ago, a colony of tube worms were found living in communion on an underwater geyser, that constantly spews toxic gases at well over 100º celcius deep under water. So as the saying goes, "Life as WE know it". But, what about life as we DON'T know it? The world is stil mostly unknown to us, and yet we're already looking elsewhere.
Now, all the thing about UFO's and such, I'm divided there. It could be true, and still couldn't be true. I'd say it's mostly plausible deniability.
Well, that's it for me. If aliens are visiting us, then I'd advise them to keep a safe distance while figuring out the best way to approach us, 'cause we humans tend to have a mean streak when it comes to things we don't fully understand.
Cheers.

I don't know if they exist. Maybe, one of life's mysteries.
Eheheheh. But if I see someone like Yuki Nagato then I'm a believer. ^^

Depends on the meaning of aliens, do u mean any life forms from bacteria to extraterestrial forms?
I believe in something out there but not anywhere near Earth. the alien types you see in tv and movies would be impossible to be anywhere near us since a planet with the exact climate, ecosystem, atmosphere like us is impossible.
My firend who is studyin science told me that we were pretty lucky to even have life at all in this earth.
but i still believe there is something out there.
