Do you hate the U.S?

I know right? Our country is so weirdly shaped you gotta hate it. :P
Alright, /sarcasm, serious time now.
I like to compare the hatred everyone has for the United States to the hatred many comics feel towards Dane Cook.
I believe it was said earlier that, us being such a young ambitious country, have basicaly become a superpower overnight in Country Years if nothing because we just went out and did everything we could to become gigantic. Older, experienced countries in Europe see us as the Country version of Dane Cook, and they're all the older, experienced comedians with intelligent material who don't get the same recognition because Dane Cook is edgier, appeals to the young crowd, and is younger and handsomer. Yeah, statistically we're fucking retarded, so the question the European countris have towards us is the equivalent to "Why do people think he's funny?" But more, "How did they get so strong?"
...I think I explained it...yeah I believe so...end statement.

There are a lot of things to not like about the US. But speaking relatively, the US has to be the most tolerable country in the world.
Democracy. Government has checks and balances. An outstanding code of law in the Constitution that's greatest strength is its ability to change. Hell, with all the amendments, half the original Constitution's already crossed out.
A judicial system, while far from perfect, tries its best to sentence the right offender.
Capitalism. For a long time, the US was the country of opportunity, though that honor now goes to China. I'd say the US is still top five in that category, though I'm no econ major.
Spacious. The country is huge. Our housing market blows, but it's not because the houses are bad in quality or size. I might be over-exaggerating, but if the US had India's population density throughout the entire country, the population would be like...10 billion people or something. Have you seen how big Wyoming is? It has a population density of FIVE people per square mile in some places.
The Bill. Of. Rights. The ability to say what you want, write what you want, worship what you want, and several others.
Now I haven't read the fifteen+ pages of posts for this topic, so I don't know if someone's made a plausible argument showing the US is inferior to another country in enough relevant topics. I just feel that if you truly hate the US, your argument should be based on having lived in the US in the past and living in another country now, and enjoying your standard of living more in your new country. I always get a laugh out of Americans who hate America. They exercise the rights that America gives them more than most people. Try that in Cuba. See what happens.

I love my country, I'm what some label as a true patriot,
I would die for my country, and my countrymen if told to defend it, but i would not die for some chum in chief, nor any politician.
I support the constitution in its true form, unmolested, uncontested, those are the rules, and any who would step on it, or attempt to circumvent it, would have my anger, and there be lots of pent up anger here.
I love my country, love most in it, just not the ones who think they can try and change its meaning.
So i guess i love america, love most of the folks in it, and hate a very select few that would seek to ruin it.

We need to find a fix to quotes + one word replies.
Seriously, add some reasons regardless how inane, asinine or trite they are.

Hate What? The people or the US itself... What shape the image of US is the people itself and they were molded by the experience they have encountered through out history... I don't think there is nothing to hate about... And even if there is, It is safe to point out the behavior (racism and the like) than the people or the country...

I like almost everything about the country except two things.
1. Racism
2. The way some of them raise their kids.
You can search the internet and see all sorts of crap like 6 year old Americans sticking out middle fingers and acting like barbarians. Even when they grow up, some of them attend wild crazy parties eating weird shit (literally) and things like that.

There are some things I do not like at the USA/the main-part of the people living in the US:
1. Their conservativity
2. Their stupidity (sure the most countries are full of stupid people but the most do not show it like the us-americans)
3. Their politics in general
4. Their believe that they are the greatest

I am neutral. As long as they don't change anything that affect me than I am fine with what they do.

None of MY kids will ever do that, its all because of politically correct crap that they try and force on us.
A psychologist once told my father in walmart(i ran off without telling him, got spanked), Spanking the child will squelch his personality", to which my dad replied; He did wrong, he needs to learn that"
My dad is by no means someone who used to beat us, we were corrected when we made mistakes, corrected by his belt....or a paddle. But he always had this look of pain in his eye whenever he did it(I saw him cry once after he did).
My dad was abused as a child, but he turned out fine. I was spanked as a kid,so did I.
It doesn't help that kids get away with murder in school, half the crap that happens would have resulted in either detention or a paddle, or both.
Now they let it slide, i worked as a janitor in a middle school/high school for 3 years, I heard a girl call her teacher a c unit to her face, teacher didn't do anything about it, i was half tempted to walk in there and smack the girl.
I was raised on 50's standards, too bad todays kids are raised by whatever channel the parents decide to leave it on.
Also, on the racist note, EVERY country has racists.
(oddly enough, as a "white american" i get more crap from blacks and latinos than i see them get, they can be hypocritical all they want, but the last time i was called a cracker by a black guy i let the n-word fly.... racism???? Prolly, but he started it, i don't take kindly to derogatory terms about my melanin content... honestly i find it stupid and slightly childish)

I think alot of pple in the united states are like that but i think it is mostly are leaders such as are past president bush that are ignorant and pissed off a lot of other countris to the point that China said that if any country would start a war with us they would back that country up. another thing I don't like is how the govenment keeps screwing over the sick and homeless. such as my mom who legally couldn't work or drive cuz her docter said she couldn't due to her illness and when ever she would apply for SSI and medicade they would deny her saying she is not sick enough. cuz of that my older bro had to get two jobs and had to work constantly to pay for all the bills and for my moms meds and for my own medication. i am actually moving to ehter europe or japan in a few years but unfortionally I have some thing I have to do first in the U.S.A before I can go.

Do I hate the US? I hate some aspects of it.
The thing to hate is the ignorance of the American people. The United States Education System really needs reworking. It's appalling that 60% of Americans do not believe in the Theory of Evolution. It's appalling that a ton of them don't know where to locate Iraq, Australia, or even the United States itself on a World Map. I mean that's insane. And then to walk around like you're smarter than everyone else with that superiority complex... >_<
But I do like what the US stands for. Freedom, Liberty, Equality, Happiness, Opportunity. I love this country. We have a good standard of living. The economy might not be so great right now, but I have faith that Obama will turn it around. I do like the other stuff America does like Football and Baseball. And there are still great friendly people here. We've advanced a lot from the civil rights movement, the civil war, the Revolutionary War.

I call the action of blacks with their attitude APARTHEID.
By the way Latinos are not a minority. Their ancestry goes back to Spain which is a European country. A good majority of US citizens ancestry starts in Europe.
So, if I spoke fluent Czech by todays standards accepting Lationos as a minority for they speak spanish then I am a minority for I have the same ancestry as they do. Latinos have to decide are they Native Americans, a minority but have to speak the Native American Language and not spanish.

You're confusing something.
Latinos have their roots in Latin America. Hispanics have their roots in Europe.

I don't hate the US or Americans at all. But this video should help you realise why some people do, especially when America is so powerful and significant, so its people really should know better. And yes, every country has dumb people but this is fucking ridiculous, even if the ultimate retards were cherry-picked for comedic purposes.
