I hate their Racism.
I hate their superiority complex that belittles everyone else.
I hate that the world puts them on the pedestal and their land is seen as Olympus, where everyone dreams to go there.
I don't hate the U.S. but I hate what they did and what they do.

That's an interesting question i have a few friends there and there cool and properly most ppl from there are but judged on a whole they are quite a stupid race. Most things i hear from talk show from the states are about mothers and ppl whingeing about stupid not important crap and the fact that i live in a country were America influences quite alot and they don't realize it that makes me sad and angry.like they even want to rise the drinking age to 21 because of America which is so stupid and you hear American mums whingeing about the 18 year old son drinking and having parties here the drinking age is 18 and by then your out of the house trying to make it on your own and that is why i wont America to wake up or be destroyed ether way is good for me.there are so many reasons i hate them and there is no real defence for them as they judged on there actions and what we see. END OF STORYYou sound like my cousin, she lectured me about the USA being immoral. I looked on her cell phone and it had videos of sex scandals. My little cousins know about sex scandals, but I didn't know about porn till I was 12.

Truly no matter what country you're in, you will always have people who are stubborn narrow minded fools who are blinded by faith and pride in their own country to believe in help.

I love what Americans provide my country (Canada) with but I dislike the overall arrogance and general (not everyone) opinion that you they are the best in the world, and therefore don't need to learn about other countries. Also the blindfolded patriotism Americans seem to shove into others faces is sickening, I love my country, I'm very proud to be Canadian, but I don't think everyone should shut the fuck up when criticizing my governments actions (as i have been told by many Americans in the past). When speaking to an individual the majority of Americans are sane, rational and reasoned, when speaking to the masses they're dumb, panicky and ignorant beyond belief.Shut up, your just a state of ours without any voting rights! Be happy are army just doesn't walk up to you in the middle of the night and say "We're taking it!"
In all seriousness, this arrogance and what (most) of the world hates about America happens every 50 years. It doesn't happen because of a liberal or conservative swing...it happens with a "religious swing" in power. That's when we go into Manifest Destiny mode and try to rule the world.
Please note, through 1900- 1970, we where the sanest mother fuckers on Earth. We where the only ones smart enough to to stop our Imperialism and refused to enter WWI because the entire reason it started was because of European dickheadishness.
As one of the few Americans who'll say this, we did NOT win WWII (even though Hitler laid the blame on us). No, we where the ones who warned England and France, if they continued acting like dicks WWII would happen in the first place. We used to be the voice of reason in the world. Even when we where the most powerful country and basically run half of it.
Now, because of a lack of an real external foe (even economic crises...until now), and without a real goal (despite reports to the otherwise...low poverty rates and high employment) we became huge dicks. Without anything to aim for, we decided to aim for things that not only we did not need on the international scene (because of the Religious swift) that didn't belong to us in the first place.
Don't worry, the economic crisis will bring back the "Old" America. It will take awhile, like ten years or so. But it WILL happen.
That said, 30-25% of the reason the world hates America, has nothing to do with Politics it has to do with THEIR nationalism. Your jealous of America impressive military and political clout, wishing your people have it. I admit its scary having a bully dictate your foreign policy or domestic policy sometimes. Because we have the power to do it, doesn't mean we should.
That said, sometimes we just defend our own rights, and your mad we don't have to bend over and get fucked by you. Or your society has confused America virtues as vices, like our stubborn insistence that the American Dream still exists. Rather, given Obama and a few dozen Fortunate 500 CEO's...it obviously does. It isn't mindless greed (in its purest form...in some of the things we apply the Dream to like Vegas, your right in mocking the hell out of it) because it happens.
Really though, I work in the tourist industry...I have friends world wide who could tell you for every annoying arrogant American there are 20 French who act a thousand times worse.

If you aren't from the US, keep in mind that I'm speaking, in part, out of disappointment with my fellow US citizens. So, don't be upset about feeling left out or anything. I tried to include everyone, but whatever.
I don't hate the US, or any other country for that matter. I've said it before, but I have no problem repeating it, any issues that anyone can have are on a human level. Personally, I'm just disappointed with humans. We are capable of mass communication, and somewhere along the way we, as humans, have lost our voices. Before the internet and all the other technological bullshit, the world was just as large, but we had a greater awareness of what was going around us. Communities were tighter and they banded together because, even if there were disagreements, the general consensus realized that the only way to make a point was to unite. These days, when we're pissed off, we can jump on the internet and bitch to people who could care less because it doesn't effect them directly.
The only problem I see with the US is that we've lost our voice as a nation. Our strength is our weakness. We pride ourselves on diversity, but that diversity is exactly what is limiting our ability to communicate with each other and actually do something that can make a difference. Everyone is pissed off about the government, but instead of getting together and figuring out something that could possibly benefit the majority, we go online and bitch about it. We, as Americans, can't speak with one voice and, if anything, that's what has fucked us up for a significant part of the past century.

Sadly, that holds true in about every country in western Europe aswell I think. An example: We just had elections in Germany, people are complaining all over the place that "Things won't change", yet when they make their cross on the list, they mostly pick the same 2 "classic" parties like always... true, the balance is slowly starting to shift towards favoring the smaller parties aswell, but in the end, people complain without thinking.
Actually the reason why many people blame the US for these things is that simply due to the size and the media it works as a focus. It is just the simple principe of distracting the view of the masses. It is oh so much easier to point to the pile of dirt that you see infront of the neighbors door than to clean up your own one.
However the reason why people voice their complains on the internet is largely due to the single reason that they are too scared to open their mouth in the public and not to go with the flow there, due to the fear of being considered an outsider, while the internet promises fake anonymousity.

tl;dr your longs posts.
Good nation, shitty government. Guess how many times we got bailed out by China. Truth be told, america doesn't have a very good export power any longer. Mostly because of the U.S businesses going oversea's for cheap legal sweat shops.
Also, AMerica is becoming more of a socialist nation, especially thanks to these huge companies(I.E - Walmart) Government getting into school system's goes along this as well. America needed more workers, so the government though "Why not start young?" So basically, we're a nation who are against entrepreneurs, the people who actually make the nation and the market strong with competition.
My point is, government is corrupting and destroying the fundamentals set out by the founding fathers. Founding fathers wanted a nation that was free to change the nations if they've wanted, to actually have powers. Now-a-days is filled with big men holding other the power, and the people having power is nothing more than looks. Money and Power is the only way you can do anything.

This thread is pretty much "tell me why you hate us and we'll tell you why we hate you" thread.
Anyway, I know Philippines can't afford better weaponry, but... wait a minute. We have malls everywhere. Anyway, we can't afford it (Government said), but as an "ally", can't we work with something better? Now U.S. is undergoing recession, I bet they can afford giving away new toys to us.
As Manuel L. Quezon said, our country is being run like hell by us, but I can't see the difference even if Americans rule over us.
Yes, my people suck, but who doesn't in this day and age?

The real problem is that people have ideas and preconceptions, and wont change them, but will argue with people who's ideas and preconceptions are different.
The way people feel about the US is just that, how they FEEL. It depends almost entirely on personal experience, and everyone's experience is different.

Hahaha, Oh man.
Hate wouldn't be the right word for the people. Actually defined as, "Love less", I absolutely abhor the folks in the U.S. who think that their government is catering to them. "We're no.1" irregaurdless of terrible testing scores, a lower collective IQ in the world and people dying from eating.
Think about that for a minute. People die in the U.S. because they have to much of a commodity poorer countries cannot afford. The U.S. is quite liberal and understanding of free-speech, we even have an internet that allows the distribution(albeit illegally) of pornography with minors, scat, fisting, pissing, etc.
The U.S. allows snuff films under the pretense of art and the notion of a 'government' making the rich richer and the poor people poorer is preposterous.
I could go on a soap box rant, but, the people in the U.S. either believe everything they hear on television and read on the internet. I mean, everyone can write to some extent of their ability, but, the content doesn't actually prove whether or not it is false.
so, in the long run, you have those who believe and those who are to caught up on how awesome this country is to believe anything you tell them.
I mean, really, this country idolizes drug use as a gateway to rape and sodomy and not morally corrupt people.

The US is a huge pussy when it comes to a lot of major miltary decisions. We let the ball drop alot instead of taking action and advantige of the situation. Other than that the US is alright.

I don't hate my homeland I actually love it there; I miss the great food and my family there. I was just giving you another point of view from a Filipino who lives in the USA.
Like what Dante said, this is a "how you feel thread". So nobody is right or wrong.

The U.S. is the best, most powerful nation on Earth. Foreigners who say they hate the U.S. are just jealous that they don't live there themselves. And U.S. citizens who say they hate it are just trying to be ironic hipsters. These are facts.

It's people like you that make people think Americans are retarded.
Best and most powerful? Really? What about your several trillions of dollars worth of debt hmm? Face the facts, US WAS a powerful nation. The new super power is China. They have literally everything they need. Military power, money, the work force. I'm going to go ahead and think that you don't like them because they're communist right? Well face the facts, communist or not, they're becoming more powerful and is already one of the world's new super powers.
I actually don't want to live in a nation of obesity, crappy health care system, and idiots like you. I enjoy living in Canada.
By the way, your use of ironic is utterly retarded. Shall I start a little English
lesson for you? Irony is separated into three categories. Dramatic irony, verbal irony and situational irony. Dramatic irony is when an audience knows something that a character does not. Verbal irony is when someone says something but means the complete opposite. Situational irony is when someone wants a certain result, but ends up with the opposite. You seem to fail to grasp the simple understanding of irony. I believe the word you are actually looking for is hypocritical. Your use of the word ironic has absolutely nothing to do with what you are saying.
Oh look, I went on a rant there. Dear me, I guess I really can't stand stupidity after all.
As for my view on US, I'm not particularly. I never tend to dislike any nation. I have a major lack of interest in politics. The only thing I hate are idiots that reside in a nation, never the nation itself.

I'm not American and I admit there are some of things that annoy me about that country but my own country is just as bad so I cant say that I hate it because I do not have a high pedestal to look down on America with or a moral high ground. I would just be talking out of my arse if I tried to put shit on Americans for the same things I do in my own country.
The one thing that does get to me though are things like this:
As one of the few Americans who'll say this, we did NOT win WWII (even though Hitler laid the blame on us). No, we where the ones who warned England and France, if they continued acting like dicks WWII would happen in the first place.
What the hell kind of history book did you read!?
You didn't warn England and France about anything if your going to blame them then you may as well included every other nation that was involved in the treaty of Versailles which America was a part of!
Or you could blame Hitler's frank disregard for national conventions by invading Poland with Russia among other territories he just took over by force.
