Do you hate the U.S?

Some of the citizens here in America are so rude.
Also, the budget cuts in New Jersey are ridiculous.
Other than that, I think it's a lovely country.

There's nothing wrong with US citizens (in general), nor its system (the laws, Constitution, etc etc). What's wrong is the people that ran the system. The problem is the people that ran the system thought their system is the best for the world just because it works with them, and they "forcefully" implanting it elsewhere, that's bigotry. And they always judge it on that biased basis, not on truth. That's not US problem, it's every nation's problems, but in US it was too exaggerated..
There's always extremist in every country, so can't blame a few for criticizing other few, it's human nature.
My background is alternate living in either a quasi-dictatorship nation, and a religious-douchebag-laden nation, so I believe the US system was pretty good methinks. At least it "supposedly" gave equality, only to be criticized by the conservatives.. but hey, what nation didn't do that?

People say they hate the USA because um, we get involved with their shit. The USA is like a nosy aunt that puts in her 2cents to every stranger she comes across....
Our society, social structure and econ are not the best in the world at all. They certainly beat out most countries but that isn't really something you can be proud of when you look at it.
That being said I don't hate the USA, but she could use some work and some of her people could use a good old bitch slap to the face cuz they be real uppity. ;)

One thing I fucking hate about my countries government is how businesses are treated. One party wants to destroy them, Tax and regulate them into oblivion, anything less isn't enough. Companies large and small must be browbeaten into submission. The profits stolen from their rightful owners so the money can be spent to buy votes to keep giving the thieves the ability to steal more of the profits. These people ignore how business works. Increase their cost of operation and they won't hire people or they'll be forced to raise prices to compensate. Both of which end up negatively affecting society. Make it difficult or impossible to fire employees and businesses won't hire, look at France for example. Trying to fire someone there is damn near impossible so, companies don't hire new people as often. Which has lead to a large unemployment rate for youths.
The other party wants to prevent all government intervention in business operations and even bail them out (with our money) when they fuck up. Like how the members of this particular party expected the government to clean up after BP when said company caused a huge oil spill because the same party relaxed the safety standards!

People in the US are just like any other person you would meet anywhere else. People just tend to notice it more because they look for it here. I have met plenty of foreigners who are total jack asses, but I don't judge their country based on it. It's ignorance at its finest.

I do hate the U.S. but not in the political way most people hate it for.I hate the U.S. because i don't see it as beautiful. To me the landscape is horrible;I place I'd love is one thats always cloudy and forestry. Of course I'm just judging living in California.

For me the U.S is kinda of a touchy subject. Being the son of the 2 immigrants(now citizens) its kinda frustrating because in a way i don't belong to either culture. I rather dislike things like nationalism and patriotism or religion because is see it as rather useless. And its funny how many Europeans give the U.S so much shit. its just a fucking nation. yes the U.S has done very fucked up things, and so has every other country. The main reason the U.S is in state its in is because of greed. And is imprinted in U.S history, its in our televisions and internet and other shit. People want it produces, it service it buys. The U.S was founded on European greed, it expanded on farmer's and land owner's greed and has developed into a super power because of a economic want.
Greed and want is alright but there's a point where you have to look back and say damn i fucked up.

i happen to live in the U.S. and I have never left but just from my small experiences with people from other country's I would have to say that the nosiness and the arrogance that everyone seems to hate just comes with being an American and being taught our history and the over all atmosphere. know that the arrogance comes in different levels depending on the family and how "patriotic" they are. Being like this is just like how in anime they tend to apologize alot. we tend not to apologize alot.

You say greed I say self interest. Every has their own goals in life and the right to make their own mistakes. Is it really that "Greedy" to want to expand a buisness that you've put your heart and soul into. In many cases sacraficing your family life to do so. A lot of the time greed is just a word that is used to say "Buinsesses are bad" "go to hell private sector" etc etc

Thanks to my experience after playing with US citizens (especially the black people) I can say that my main complain is their arrogance especially the blacks (I mean at least the whites specify why they're mad while the blacks just go "IM GONNA KILL YOUR FAMILY! FUCK YOU!" and then ragequit). I don't hate the US or the US citizens but I despise the arrogance they carry around with them.

Well lets remember a couple things here.
1. Remember the fact that, the reason most of our laws are based off of religion, is because we were only a sub-country for a while. Our motherland was England, one of the most catholic-driven countries of the world. Part of the reason we still have those laws is to respect our origins as well as our own (as a countries) personal beliefs.
2. As someone has stated previously, do remember that we're the mutt country. We don't have a specific culture, the only thing we have is our marketing successes and accomplishments and industries such as mcdonalds, etc. But because of this, the reason we have arrogance is as a defense of the arrogance brought upon us.
For instance, how many stories have you heard of people from other countries working our jobs and taking our money then going back to their country and becoming rich. Everytime someone does that, it raises the arrogance of our forefathers because it makes us believe that we have the best economical value, etc etc.
3. America's history was pretty rocky. I mean, in truth, look at it like this, everyone wanted it when it was still a baby country, and when Brittian got it, they used us as an experimental field. Since all the other countries were having problems with their system, they tried something new. And in a matter of years, for a time we became the economical kings. That may not be the case now, but the US is still the place everyone wants to put their troubles on, and you know what, we take it, every single town CAUSE WE'RE THE HEROES
Ok on a more serious note, I don't hate or love my country, but I'd much rather be here the in some third world country. Seriously.
Then you hate black people, not the US.
Silly.

I think it's pretty silly to categorize us as a whole in anyway.
The United States is a large country with many different types of cultures and people. It is the world's only superpower, and like any great powers before it; is full of inter-contradictions. It is not necessary to love America, or Americans as people. But hate it?
That is absurd. What is really being targeted here? The real country; or whatever picture someone has painted for you?

No I love my country, but some of the people in America can be annoying. Don't assume what a country is like from what you see on TV or if you have never been to the country.
