I don't hate it, i hate the what the people in power are doing with it.^ This.
The U.S. is a pretty good country (but I'd like to move to Japan and experience the culture there). The fact is though, there are certain things that should be changed and ran differently.

I went to america and had a great time.
Most people were nice to talk to and the fact that I could speak to anyone where ever I went was amazing whereas England here is impossible to just start talking to someone most the time.
Whenever I go on holiday watching a show or relazing on the beach, you can usually hear the fat loud american woman who just won't shut up lol, but that's hard to say I hate them.

Alright ever since I was a kid I'd I always heard ppl saying that d U.S. sucks but as I grew older I learned d real facts. And personaly I don't know why everyone says d U.S. sucks so much. Most of the ppl I ask respond with horrible reasons such as "the ppl here suck" Anyway back to d point how does d U.S. suck when it's military, society, and economy (somewhat) is superior (somewhat) to most nations. So yes I am asking oh to give me your opinion and educate me on this
Let d debate....BEGIN lol
The people there don't suck...the government does and I personally mean the one's hiding in the brass that controls the people without publishing to the world who they are. CIA or NSA or etc... people like that.. Though I like the scenery in the U.S. Its breathtaking

No, I don't hate my country. Though I disagree with how it is ran at times, and baseless claims that it is vastly inferior to any euro nation that some have been known to make (example: Wow, America sucks because we have to pay for our education, unlike the people in France and Poland. Wow, Europe is a shining example to the world because they don't have conservative views and accept every one regardless of race or ethnicity). *Side note: I really wish the example I posted was fake, but it is not. I've seen enough of the world where I understand that all places are fucked up in some way, shape, or form. And, going from past experiences and the opinions of friends who have immigrated here, I proud to live here. Though this doesn't deter me from the desire to study abroad (or two... yeah, I just went there) or my goal for my future career.
Long story short. I love my country, though it has it's fair share of issues.

I hate this country and all that it stands for to this day. In the beginning we had it right but I think I gave up all hope the second we tried to make this a communist society with the Patriot Act. Which was in turn, put into motion by the disgrace of our nation George W. Bush. The fact that he was even elected meant the downfall of our society. When we finally got an okay president he was put into office with 2 wars, a shit economy, and a short time limit to fix it all.
Oh my, and don't get me started on the suggested Patriot Act II. That would have been the end of all freedom in America had someone (who was fired for it) leaked the bill before it was announced. It was soon after red stamped so at least we are free. Ah, but I am ranting now. My point in all this is that we live in a shit nation and no one knows how to do it right. Presidents spent more time spewing shit then I do, and I eat A LOT of Mexican food.

I think America's only problem is over-confidence are a serious overdose of patriotism. Country based patriotism kills species based patriotism, which is called racism and same race murder.
Death to country based patriotism, because no matter what happens, you are never fucking better than anyone else.

I don't know enough about other countries to compare the U.S. to. I don't hate the US, though I kinda hate Obama.
overall, I think the country is getting worse, and I might need to move to Japan if it gets really bad.

Do you really want to move to Japan when they are still recovering from the earthquake and will take more than 5 years for it to rebuild.

The US is not a bad country, it is just very greedy, and thus nearly every person in it takes things for granted that are rare in near every other place. We(I being from the US) have little consideration for others and are far less friendly towards other people than more rural countries(again due to greed). Because of our lifestyle choices, the economy of the US is on a down slide which will most likely be irrecoverable, and once "shit hits the fan" there will be turmoil in near every country because we (directly or indirectly) affect more than 90% of the countries in the world. From inside, most people are ignorant to the facts and refuse to change because it is comfortable for them, which leads to the main reason most people hate the us. Regardless, as individuals, we may be friendly, but the majority are assholes and education in the US is slipping, but that isn't yet cause to say that the country itself is uneducated. I can't say that I hate this country, but I also cant say that there aren't problems and that we are making forceful attempts to resolve the problems we have. In general, our political system is also extremely corrupt and, well there are hundreds of thousands more problems, but I highlighted a few major ones. I got carried away while typing this so im sorry that it is unintended-ly long

I'm an American, happy to be one. Read a few posts and want to clariffy some things by explaining the research I've done in Highschool.
First: Voting. I am not gonna vote, and you all may think that makes me lazy. Those of you who think so, learn about our voting system. When we are electing a President, we have two vote counts: Popular, which is based off of the general population, and Electoral, which is based off of the Senate and House of Represintitives. The fucked up thing. The popular vote is just to sit up there and look pretty. WE have Pres. A and Pres. B; Pres. A got the most electoral votes, while Pres. B got the most Popular votes. Pres. A wins. Both get the same amount of Electoral votes; the Gov't holds a second vote for the House and Senate. I am not gonna make a vote, when that vote is gonna do nothing but be another number in a text book.
On a side note, they say that "Every vote counts". Doesn't that scare the shit out of you? I mean, look around, go to a place with a bunch of people. Their votes count. That doesn't scare you?
Second, we Americans were brought up, raised in this society by our parents, and most of those inherate that stuck up attitude that I myself witness. Not really our fault, but one of the many ways that the Gov't controles us/

You know there's better countries to live than Japan, right? It's a nice place to visit, but there's no way I'm living there for a lot of reasons.
